🐾 Did you know?

Deagon & Sandgate Veterinary Practice has been proudly running Puppy Preschool for over 25 years!

I’ve been so lucky to watch countless cheeky little puppies grow into happy, confident and wonderful dogs.

It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey from those first playful puppy days through to adulthood.

Here’s to many more puppies, plenty of puppy mischief, and lots of wonderful dogs to come! 🐾

⚠️ TICK SEASON IS HERE ⚠️

Paralysis tick cases are beginning to surge across our hospitals, and prevention is always better than treatment.

If you are taking your pet on long walks or exploring areas with bushland or long grass, a few simple habits can make an important difference. Check your pet thoroughly every day and ensure their flea and tick prevention is up to date.

Please speak with your primary care vet about the most appropriate preventative for your pet, as not every product is suitable for every animal.

Know the signs of tick paralysis and act quickly if something does not seem right. If you think you may have found a tick on your pet, or you are concerned about any symptoms, please seek veterinary care immediately.

Our teams are here when you need us.
