When the release of a huge Eastern Brown Snake almost backfires… 😳
This was one heck of a snake that definitely got Summer’s heart pumping! You’ll notice as Summer stepped closer to the snake to video it slithering off, it reacted quite quickly and defended itself. This is because it viewed Summer as a threat, and was telling her to back off!
As you can see, Summer’s movement triggered this reaction from the snake, but as soon as she gave it more space and stood still, it felt safe and slithered away. They are truly such simple creatures and easy to understand when you give them a chance!
Majority of the time when we step towards a snake to film release, it will slither in the opposite direction, but this snake was rather reactive and had a larger protective instinct, and that’s okay!
Stay tuned for the catch vid tomorrow!
(Can confirm Summer has since recovered from this experience! 😂)
