Can the real MVP please stand up!!! 🥇 🏆 🆙

This moment of the weekend deserved its own spotlight ✨

A huge round applause for our 2 MVP’s of the weekend !

1.Our human MVP and box loading extraordinaire Emily Ward for risking fingers when a loaded ball fell out of the box with Archer heading towards her at speed before she quickly realised and re loaded the ball - can confirm last we checked she still has all 10 fingers 🤣

2. Our anchor dog MVP Mr Archer 💚 …. Tell you he knows his job without telling you he knows his job!
Not only did he still manage a near perfect turn , pick up the CORRECT fumbled ball from OUTSIDE THE RING but he then returned to the ring unassisted with said ball and into the lanes to finish all 4 jumps correctly! What a guy!!! 💚💚💚

Sound left on so you can hear the cheering as he came back up the lane!!! 🎉 🥳

We may not have won that race but that heat will go down in club history as one of the most memorable moments and talking points for years to come!!!

Alstonville Flyball Classic wrap up 🩶💙❤️

The weather tried hard to ruin the weekend but it gave us just enough of a break to let the show go on!

A huge weekend of racing for team Chasing Tail - Spin! With 8 races each day we had some great races , nice tight passes & consistent times against some tough competition in Division 1. Overall we placed 4th with our best time being our NEW CLUB PB set by Billy, Linc, Ruby & Archer 18.336 🎉 🎉

A huge thankyou to our Box loader extraordinaire Em for keeping the box in line and the balls loaded at all times & to our friends from Coastal High Flyers- Flyball & Agility Morisset & All Paws Airborne Flyball Club for your help with pass calling , sh****ng , changing heights and helping Em get the box in and out of the ring! We couldn’t do it without you all!

Huge thankyou again to Awesome Pawsome Flyball Racing for another well put together comp! We enjoyed every second! 🩶💙❤️

All the way from Durack, QLD, please welcome Chasing Tails Dog Sports Club to their first ever Nats!

No strangers to the ring, this club has hit a few locals comps, and this year they’re rolling up to Nats as a brand new club, having struck out on their own and started their next chapter.

And because apparently a first Nats wasn’t enough of a challenge, they’ve added a 1,600km road trip. Yep, 1,600km of highway, servo pies and dogs asking ‘are we there yet?’ from the back seat. That's most of the country just to run 51 feet in a straight line, over and over, as fast as possible. Priorities.

So when you spot the Chasing Tails crew ringside, shout them something from the food trucks. After all those servo pies, they’ve definitely earned better.

Kicking off the weekend with a training day for our green dogs!
Envy, Sundae , Hetti , Wednesday & Winnie didn’t let the early morning wake up and road trip stop them from hitting the ground running and working hard on their training.

Thankyou to everyone who helped us inside and outside the ring! We appreciate it so much and huge thanks to AP for hosting this weekend and bringing us all to the northern rivers of NSW for this event

🩶❤️💙 Alstonville Flyball Classic 🚗🐾

Who doesn’t love a good roadtrip?
It feels like it’s been forever since we’ve done a flyball roadtrip!
Our first away comp as a club and naturally we thought, “How many dogs and people can we fit into one road trip?” 😂

Answer: 12 dogs, 5 handlers and approximately zero spare breathing space! 🤣😅🤪

This weekend we load up the utes and trailers and head south across the border to Alstonville for the Alstonville Flyball Classic hosted by Awesome Pawsome Flyball Racing .
With a training day for our beginner dogs and 2 days of racing for our team, the weekend is shaping up to be a weekend of flyball, fun, questionable packing decisions and trying to keep track of everyone (dogs included!).

Plenty of racing, plenty of laughs, and probably more treats consumed for both humans and dogs than kilometres travelled. 😂

Tomorrow our beginner dogs hit the lanes in Bayside Flyball Racing Inc. “Bayside goes undercover “ training day!

We are looking forward to watching their progress and confidence grow in the ring environment .

Thanks to Bayside for hosting this training day! It’s so important that our beginners get the change to practice their skills in controlled environments like this to help them be ready for a day in the future when they hit the lanes in a team.
