Today I met the gorgeous Scooby! Scooby is a young border collie who is still learning everything to life. His owners have reached out for help in regard to his impulse control with both cars and mowers.

Today we went through some basic obedience, including recall and place training as our basic foundations for future training.🐾

I look forward to working with both him and his committed owners!

While we may be celebrating the new year with fireworks and loud noises, it’s important to keep our pets safety as a priority!

Ensuring your dog is up to date with their microchips and wearing a ID collar can help in keeping them safe if they were to get out.

A few tips to help if your dog is afraid of loud noises 👇
🐾 Leave the TV on, or soothing noises in the background.
🐾 Provide distracting enrichment activities like frozen kongs, licki mats or food puzzles.
🐾 Place your dog in a safe space such as a crate or smaller environment.
🐾 Use a thunder shirt.
🐾 Close curtains.
🐾 Provide comfort - but continue with normal activities.

Remember not to reward the anxiety or anxious behaviours.

Today I met Indie and her owners! Indie is a beautiful Boxer who’s full of endless energy. Indie will be starting her training journey with us from today!

Today I met the gorgeous Jedi and his owner. Our initial meet & greet today discussed goals, behaviours and expectations that we will be training towards.

Jedi’s is a gorgeous 5 month old german shepherd cross, who’s full of puppy energy. Within our walk & trains with him, we’ll be focusing on building his confidence and loose leash walking skills to make it easier for his mum at outings.

Hi all! I’m jasmine, a student dog trainer, and the owner of Educated Canines! I would like to introduce myself and give everyone a brief description of myself. I’ve always had a passion for dogs and helping owners build trust, boundaries and leadership in their relationship with their dogs.

My own current dog Buddha has pushed me
further then I could imagine into learning more about dog behaviour and training. He has taught me that results will come after consistent work and to never give up in what I have set in mind.

I have previously worked alongside an amazing trainer that has also helped me grow in my skill and acknowledgements In reading dog behaviour and have decided to grow even more in following my goals and helping other dog owners like myself in creating a better bond with their dogs. ❤️🐾
