The response to Ian’s decoy certification course has been both humbling and overwhelming. I’m grateful we can park our enmity, pride and ego to the side to learn from one of the most experienced and influential decoys, breeders and trainers in the UK and his personal decoy Asa

It’s an opportunity to showcase the breed standard in Australia and improve our skills as decoys and helpers

We have an enviable blend of learners ranging from former military dog handlers to current police dog handlers and security contractors including an impressive line-up of dogs

The most successful decoys are young and fit of which I am neither so I strongly recommend arriving at the course fit and capable of slinging dogs around up to 45kg as 4/5ths of the course is practical

For our interstate participants we can organise an Air B ‘n B if there is sufficient demand

We require a deposit of $750 to cover Ian and Asa’s airfares please; thanks to those who have already paid!

We are honoured to host Ian Morgan from Lorokmor Working Dogs for a 5-day Basic Decoy Certification course in August.

Ian has competed with distinction in KNPV and AVD Trials in Europe and is the founder of Defend and Pursue in the UK which we desire to establish in Australia and NZ.

He breeds, trains and supplies dogs to police units, prison services and private security companies in the UK, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, USA, Israel, Malta, the Turks and Caicos Islands.

How to keep a dog safe
Use of agitation tools

Congratulations to Gabby Emm, Cole Benji, Jason Pye, Ricky Bruce, Kevin Lauv, Mikal Sokol and Yen Taylor for achieving a historic milestone – NZ’s first PSA trial! We are excited about watching two of our pups compete for national honours, Falco owned by Gabby and Western, owned by Kevin. Jason is also entering the venerable Von Lindenhof Amara. At almost 11 years of age, she still personifies the qualities we desire to emulate in our litters

We are excited to introduce Bomber’s imposing genetics to Australia. Weighing 42kg and standing 26in at the shoulder, the NEF Working K9 stud is an impressive specimen.
