This recent client is a young Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen. We don’t get to see much of this breed and there is surprisingly not many around. This French breed can be a little stubborn and strong willed and this young girl was no exception😄 We really enjoyed working with her🙏

Your ability to change your dog's unwanted behaviour has little to do with how intelligent or trainable they are. In fact, the majority of dogs we see are plenty smart and educated.

In the same way that a highly educated and intelligent person can be rude, ignorant, socially anxious or obsessive, your clever and highly trained dog can still be reactive, hyperactive, nervous or defiant.

Instead of focusing on teaching your dog more 'stuff" or attempting to fix THEM, we encourage you to find out what it is about your own conduct, connection, leadership and relationship with them that has created the unwanted behaviour.

Archie the beautiful male Rottweiler, wasn’t keen on rules and was trying to control everything. Going through an emotional time can absolutely affect our dogs’ behaviour. They feel it as an imbalance in our energy field and often either, act out our emotions, or, try to take over responsibility and control of the environment. When we are ready, it’s time to give back and provide strong loving leadership for them so they can rebalance, heal and relax.

Yes, 10 month old Corgi, Pablo, is as cheeky as he looks. Unfortunately for his owners he had managed to claim the office of Managing Director in his household. Symptoms included constant demanding barking, anxious barking out in public and not listening to his staff members.

Sometimes we must be the parents our dog needs rather than those we’d like to be. Puppy school and extensive but irrelevant training had not helped turn Pablo’s attitude around because no one was addressing the real issue. He had been taught lots of tricks but had learnt to avoid his anxiety by controlling everything in his environment.
