Congratulations to Andrew Boh for putting the time and effort in with Remi (Troy van de Suikerdijk x Vif van’t rietje) who recently got her PDC (Protection Dog Certificate) in PSA (Protection Sports Association) and awarded decoys choice!

Optimal Canine have provided the training and development of Remi since a puppy and achieved excellent results so far in her journeys

Ignition K9 have confirmed that Mies (Imp) is in whelp to Elek Van Younghaus (AI).

Elek Van Younghaus (BRN 21568) combines multiple, significant bloodlines to manifest a large (67cm, 41KG), strong, dominant male with formidable presence. As a son of Rico Vergossen, the obvious lineage is that from Duco II and Arno te Brake via famous dogs such as Rico Hendrikx, Django Van der Doelen. In Elek however, there is additional influence of Jary Berghorst and in particular, the blood of Hans Pegge. The contribution of these ancestors cannot be overlooked in Elek, as beyond his strong, dark pigment, extreme physical and gripping characteristics, Elek inherited intensity but with the ability to focus, strong drive to hunt, balanced character, strong nerve and a high desire to work. Elek exemplifies quality, and his performance as an individual and producer across continents.

Mies (BRN 36780) is a product of Bonky's bloodline where he sits as her maternal grandsire through her dam, BRN 36609 | Toos, a product of the extremely well-known and repeated Bonky x Ziva II combination that produced an extremely high percentage of Police, KNPV and other, service dogs.

Mies' sire, is BRN 25624 | Logan, a very strong dog in his own right that is a fast, powerful dog. Logan's mother is BRN 16160 | GoGo (van Djik) and sees BRN 10713 | Wibo (van Leeuwen) as his maternal grandsire and which was combined with the Tommy Ljuiken daughter, Tessa to produce GoGo. BRN 12240 | Tessa dam was BRN 8331 | Anne (van Leeuwen), daughter of Mido (Verbeek) bred with Benta, sister of Spike.

Both parents are X-Rayed excellent hips and elbows.

Overall, the combination of Elek Van Younghaus x Mies represents a strong combination of strength, character, and drive

Woohooo! Brisbane seminar finished! Thank you for your support! I hope everyone took something out of this seminar. Many thanks to all the participants for coming and being a part of it! Thanks to all the people bringing their dogs, it is always a little nerve wracking but without your dogs we would not be able to learn as much. Many thanks to Ignition K9 for cohosting and providing a wonderful venue. And of course, I am grateful for Hans trusting me to organise this seminar tour for him and most importantly for bringing his knowledge and experience in the NePoPo®️ system to raise the level of dog training in Australia.
