โ ๏ธ STORM SEASON IS HERE โ AND IT LOOKS LIKE ITโS KICKING OFF THIS WEEK.
If you have a dog or cat who struggles with thunderstorms, now is the time to start preparing, before the first rumble of thunder sends them into panic mode.
Storm anxiety can look different for every pet. Pacing, panting, shaking, hiding, barking, trying to escape or simply being unable to settle can all happen when a storm rolls through.
For our Queensland and Northern NSW families, this week is looking like an early reminder that storm season has arrived. โ๏ธ
A few things you can do now:
โข Create a quiet, safe space your pet can retreat to
โข Close blinds and curtains before the storm arrives
โข Use background noise to help soften sudden thunder
โข Keep your pet safely indoors
โข Have their calming routine ready before the weather hits
โข If you use Pet Relief, donโt wait until your dog or cat is already highly distressed, start supporting them ahead of the storm
Keep an eye on the forecast this week, especially across South East Queensland and North East NSW.
Please remember: forecasts can quickly change, so always check current warnings and official advice.
