Check out some of our gorgeous double-coated friends below 👇🐾

Did you know that double-coated breeds still benefit from regular professional grooming? While they don’t need haircuts as often as oodle mixes, routine grooming is important for maintaining a healthy coat and skin.

Double-coated dogs can develop impacted undercoat, which traps dirt, moisture, and heat against the skin. Regular baths, blow-dries, and de-shedding treatments help remove loose coat, improve airflow, reduce shedding, and keep them comfortable year-round.

At Simply Bliss, we only use coat-safe grooming techniques and tools that are designed to remove loose undercoat without damaging the coat, breaking the hair, or causing skin irritation. Protecting the health and integrity of your dog’s coat is always our priority. 💗

And let's not forget the finishing touches! Nail trims help keep feet healthy and comfortable, while paw tidy-ups remove those famous "Grinch feet" 🐾, improving grip and reducing slipping on hard floors.

On Sundays, Simply Bliss Dog Grooming turns into full puppy central! The incredible team from Dog Bizness run structured, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful puppy classes. It’s not chaos with puppies running wild — everything is carefully set up with designated areas, guided interactions, and real-time education so owners can watch, learn, and understand what’s happening 🌟

They focus on building confidence, encouraging positive behaviours, and setting puppies up to truly thrive.

Myself & Jess joined in for the last session to talk all things grooming! We spoke about the importance of coat care, how to maintain your little ones at home & gave individual advice to each owner on their puppy. 🐶
