🐶✨ THE PUPPY COAT TRANSITION ✨🐶

Ever wondered why your puppy’s coat suddenly feels different, looks a little fluffier, or starts getting those pesky knots? 👀

That’s because your puppy is growing up! 🥹💗
Typically between the ages of 8-10 months of age.

As puppies mature, their soft, fluffy puppy coat starts to shed out and make way for their adult coat. This transition can happen gradually—or seemingly overnight! 😅

During this stage, the two coats can mix together, making the fur much more prone to matting and tangling. Regular brushing and professional grooming are super important during this time to keep your pup comfortable and their coat healthy. ✂️🫧

✨ Signs your pup may be entering the coat change:
🐾 Coat feels thicker or different in texture
🐾 More tangles and knots than usual
🐾 Puppy fluff starts looking uneven
🐾 Adult coat begins appearing around the face, ears & body

Don’t panic if your puppy suddenly looks a little… awkward! 😂 It’s all part of growing up!
