✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

Hi Im Jacynta
I started my career as a hairdresser in Brighton, but with my love for dogs and hairdressing, it wasn’t long before I combined the two and became a dog groomer. 17+ years later, and I still love what I do!

I love grooming dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes, with a special place in my heart for nervous, anxious and behaviourally challenging pups. Every dog is different, and understanding their individual needs is a big part of making grooming a positive experience.
I’m also big on educating owners about coat care, matting and maintaining their dog’s coat between grooms.

I’ll always be honest about what your pup needs and how they went during their visit!
You’ll also likely meet my gorgeous Shih Tzu, Panda, who hangs out at the shop with me. He likes to think he’s in charge, but really, he’s just there for the attention!

At Powder Pups, it’s all about happy, healthy pups and making sure every dog gets the care they deserve!

PANDA - THE SHOP DOG, PROFESSIONAL GOOD BOY PART-TIME MENACE! 🤡

Shop mascot, troublemaker, guard dog? ...
Absolutely not.
He’d probably help the intruder carry things to the car, then demand cuddles as payment.

Panda is a little too enthusiastic when meeting his fellow K9s and has the social awareness of a potato
He’s regularly
reminded of his name while doing things he absolutely shouldn’t be doing!

He wouldn’t hurt a fly, but he might accidentally smother it with affection.
Just like his namesake, he’s gentle, d***y, ridiculously cuddly and has approximately two brain cells fighting for third place.

Come in and say hi, just don’t expect him to protect you! 🐾 🐶

✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

Hi, I’m Tori! 🐾

I’ve been working in the dog grooming industry for over 10 years, and throughout that time, I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many different breeds, personalities and beautiful pups.

You’ll see me around the shop most days! I love getting to know each pup that comes through our doors and making their grooming experience as comfortable, positive and enjoyable as possible.

I have a particularly soft spot for our senior and anxious pups. I understand that grooming can sometimes be overwhelming, so I always aim to be patient, gentle and understanding of each dog’s individual needs, helping them feel as safe and comfortable as possible while in my care.

Although I don’t have a dog of my own, I do have a very special nephew pup named Panda, who you’ll often see hanging out around the shop! I also love dog-sitting, which means I get to spend a little extra time surrounded by furry friends outside of work, too. ❤️

For me, dog grooming is about more than just a haircut. It’s about understanding each dog’s individual needs and personality, taking the time to make them feel comfortable and cared for, and helping them leave feeling fresh, happy and looking their best!

I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members 🐶💕
