“Do oodles shed?”

This is probably one of the biggest questions future oodle families ask us!

The answer? They can.

Cavoodles, Groodles and Labradoodles can have a variety of coat types, and even puppies within the same litter can have different coats.

While the Poodle influence can mean less shedding, we never promise that an oodle will be completely non-shedding or hypoallergenic.

And that beautiful fluffy coat comes with some responsibility! 🧴✂️ Regular brushing and professional grooming are an important part of life with an oodle.

🎄🐾 Hoping for a puppy BEFORE Christmas?*🐾🎄

Our pre-Christmas puppy plans are coming together, and our **waitlist is already almost full!**

We’re expecting:

✨ Cavoodles — under 7kg
✨ Mini Labradoodles — approx. 12–15kg
✨ Mini Groodles — approx. 15–19kg

**Please note:** We are NOT expecting any of our larger Standard Groodles (approx. 23–25kg+) to be ready before Christmas.

Registering does not guarantee a puppy, as places are very limited.

They think they’re just playing… we know they’re learning. 🐶🤎

Playtime at Kaya Moon is about so much more than having fun.

Every little game, chase, climb and wrestle is helping our puppies learn important life skills -building confidence, practising communication, exploring new textures and sounds, learning boundaries and figuring out how to interact with the world around them.

We introduce different toys, surfaces, sounds and experiences so they can learn through play without even realising they’re learning.

To them? It’s the best part of the day.
To us? It’s all part of raising confident, curious little puppies ready for family life. 🐾

Cavoodle, Groodle or Labradoodle—which Oodle is right for your family? 🐶

It’s one of the most common questions we’re asked, and the honest answer is: it depends on much more than which puppy you think is the cutest.

Before choosing an Oodle, consider your preferred adult size, activity level, children’s ages, living space and how much time you can commit to training, exercise, grooming and companionship.

While each Oodle cross has some general characteristics, every puppy is an individual. Temperament, confidence, energy, coat and adult size can vary—even between puppies from the same litter.

At Kaya Moon, we want to help you find a puppy who fits naturally into your family and lifestyle, not simply select one based on colour or appearance.
