Feeling a bit concerned this morning. H5N1 Bird Flu has finally arrived in Australia. All vets have plans from state, federal and the AVA on planning for this . If you see any sick birds ring your vet for information. Also you have 4 days left to comment on the Bondi Junction masterplan . They are now saying “ it’s just an illustration “ but won’t give us more time or show a model and the sun is still rising in the east !

Can you imagine a 15 story building at the top of Lawson St ? Can you imagine the terraces across the road and the childcare centres also high rise ? . Maybe if as on the Waverley Council plans the sun rose in the South it would be warm and welcoming but Bondi Junction is already a wind tunnel . Please send Waverley Council your thoughts on the master plan .

This is a picture from the Bondi Junction Masterplan . We seem to be a swimming pool in top of a high rise and check out the high rise opposite and heading down Lawson St . . Waverley Council hasn’t addressed heritage or shadowing and despite talking about green space the park looks smaller . It’s already very windy round here . What do I you think ? Please make a submission by the 24th or try to attend the very short information sessions . Waverley Council we need more time !
