We have been contacted by an elderly lady who we helped desex several of the cats living in her yard last year and she now has a mum cat with 4 kittens come to her. We are looking for someone to foster mum and kittens until they are old enough to be desexed and rehomed. We will cover all food and litter cost as well as any vet costs.

A rescue environment transforms into a somber setting when an individual initiates unfounded drama, which escalates to death threats, thereby jeopardizing the lives of animals and children. This situation has now reached a critical juncture. Law enforcement authorities are conducting an investigation, and we will be suspending all rescue operations as the safety and well-being of our caregiver and her family, along with all others involved, take precedence. We express our gratitude to everyone for their support, and once the incident is addressed by the authorities, we will provide an update.

A critical situation has arisen involving our carer, who has faced accusations of hoarding and animal abuse without substantial evidence. She has received two threatening phone calls, one from a male and one from a female, threatening her life. Our carer has worked closely with police and detectives, and the evidence suggests that recent online posts are the source of these incidents, as specific words used in the posts were repeated in the threats. This trend is disturbing, as it highlights the concerning propensity for individuals to engage in malicious behavior by disclosing personal information about others, thereby posing a threat to their safety. These individuals, who appear to lack direction and purpose in their own lives, disseminate unsubstantiated information without corroborating evidence and amplify it significantly to feign concern. The rescue world has become a farce, and the innocent cats will ultimately suffer. It has become apparent that some individuals are involved in rescue efforts to self-promote, with little regard for others.
Who will step up and take on the cats in our carers care as her safety comes first now.
The malicious behaviour in rescue needs to stop as she is not the only victim this week of this sort of nastiness.

We would like to correct certain facts regarding The Forgotten Cats Of Wetherill Park, operated by Dell Love, who resides on the Central Coast. Dell Love has made accusations of animal abuse against one of our foster carers, which is entirely unfounded. This individual has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to animal welfare, providing substantial assistance to numerous cats, including those trapped, transported, and fostered for Dell Love. It appears that Dell Love has a tendency to react negatively when things do not go in her favor. The RSPCA did conduct an investigation based on reports from individuals who lacked a comprehensive understanding of the situation. Following an initial investigation, officers conducted a final check, which did not substantiate the allegations. We, along with several other rescue organizations, are supporting the foster carer and her work. It is worth noting that the animal rescue environment can be highly volatile, and it is essential to question the motivations of those who seek to discredit individuals dedicated to helping animals, often from a position of comfort and inactivity, in an attempt to advance their own interests and reputation.
We will endeavour to continue our work trapping desexing and rehoming cats.
