The Animal Care Truck is heading to Windale, Lake Macquarie!

On Wednesday 16 September, AWL NSW will be at Michael Bird Oval, offering free veterinary services for pet owners in the Lake Macquarie LGA.

This visit is targeted towards low-income earners, pensioners, and those experiencing financial hardship, helping more pets receive the essential care they need.

Free services available:
- Pet health checks
- Microchipping
- Dog C3 vaccinations
- Cat F3 vaccinations

📍Michael Bird Oval, South Street, Windale
🗓️ Wednesday 16 September
🕘 9am to 1pm

🐾 Cats must be in carriers and dogs must be leashed. Maximum of 3 pets per household.

Please prepare for weather as waiting times may be long. We look forward to supporting the community and their pets!

*UPDATE my son and his family are going to trial having her and see how it goes, if all goes well she will stay in our family which would be the best outcome possible.
If this doesn’t work out we will be offering her for rehoming again and for those whom were interested I will keep you updated.

A very difficult decision and one not taken lightly 💔

Sometimes loving our dogs means making decisions based on what we feel is truly best for them, even when those decisions are incredibly hard.

We are considering finding a new home for one of our 5 year old desexed girls.
(Not one of our mummas)

Living in a multi-dog household is no longer working as peacefully as it once did.
We’ve tried all available methods to make it work and although our last option is somewhat working it’s stressful for all and unfair to our girl.
We know deep down that she would have a happier and more settled life in a different environment, one where she can be number 1.

She has some additional care needs with feeding and dietary requirements, due to this she’s a what I like to call a mini Staffy as she weighs only around 10kg and is small in structure but otherwise she is fit and healthy,
she is still the typical Staffy who loves to play particularly tug of war and likes a good zoomies session.
She loves lounging around snuggles on the lounge or in bed, she’d make the perfect lap dog (which she definitely thinks she is haha)

All additional information and requirements can be discussed with serious and genuinely suitable potential homes.

We will not let her just go to anyone.

We will be looking for a home that is the right fit for her and that meets her needs.

She would only be suited to a home with no other dogs and children aged 10 or over, providing they are respectful of her space and understand her need for a calm environment.

This has been a very difficult thing to even consider and we have sat on the idea of this for quite a while now due to multiple factors.

Her welfare is our priority and the only reason we are even considering this.

Update on the gorgeous chonky boy THEO aka TYRO 🧡

Theo is going great at his new home with his new family

Theo will be the new man of the house and I reckon he’ll be amazing at that role 💪🏼

His new mummy lost her best friend around 12mths ago and was ready to love and care for another Staffy.
She was looking for the perfect puppy and a breeder she could trust and she came across us.
We are so happy to be apart of for filling her dreams of becoming a fur mum again, it’s such a wonderful feeling.

A Little update of Hennie at his new home with his new family 💚

Hennie is fitting in so well and apparently has been a perfectly behaved puppy.
He is so very loved and adored by his new family and has made 3 children so very happy.

Gus at his new home with his new brother Huxley 💙🩵

Gus is settling in well and Hux is doing great at accepting him and they have already begun to form a bond as you can see in these pics.
Props to his owners for raising such a gentleman.

Huxley is the son of our OG’s Zena and Zeus
And Gus is the son of our Zigi and our chosen stud Frank (Frank the tank)
Gus and Hux aren’t related by blood.

These pair are going to have so much fun together.

Poo parties are great fun apparently!

The part of breeding you don’t see (or smell) 🤢😭😂

Last night the one time in almost 8 weeks that I only got up one time instead of several times throughout the night to clean the puppy area (i wasn’t feeling well) plus obviously very tired from the sleep deprivation.
Anywho this is the result

In person there was a lot more p**p, you know like all stuck in between their paws, smeared into their coats and all down the sides of the puppy pen.
It was such beautiful art work 🤢

They also decided they couldn’t be bothered to use their doggy toilet like not at all 🤦🏻‍♀️😏

They were better toilet trained at 4 weeks old then they are now!
This happens every litter,
make it make sense? 🤯
