It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share this post.

Many of you in the horse community will know my dear friend Christina. She has been a long-standing member of our community through barrel racing and is the founder of Bucklicious Designs.

She has also been a valued sponsor to many individuals and events over the years, but more importantly, she is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted people you'll ever meet.
I had the privilege of spending time with Chrissy and Tim over the years. I have such fond memories of visiting them, going flying with them, and simply enjoying their company. They were one of those couples you just loved being around, and seeing the life they built together with beautiful little Ivy was something truly special.

My heart is absolutely broken for Chrissy, Ivy, and both of their families following the tragic loss of Tim.
He was taken far too soon while doing what he loved most, leaving behind family, friends and community who adored him.

If you are able, I know any support would mean the world to Chrissy and Ivy as they navigate the unimaginable days, weeks and months ahead.

Somewhere . . . in time's own space, there must be some sweet, pastured place.
Where creeks sing on - and tall trees grow, some paradise where horses go.

I can't fathom that this is happened, devastating doesn't begin to describe it. I've tried and tried to find the words, but couldn't even begin to write, it's taken me days.

I keep telling myself over and over that it's just a bad dream and you'll show up for your pudding in the morning, but the paddock is empty of your beautiful face and I'm just filled with grief 😞💔

How much loss does one have to endure, when will enough be enough. There's no little girl on earth or in heaven that needed you more than me. I can't bring myself to speak of you, my throat closes in and the tears just flow. Why did they need you elsewhere so soon, I will never know.

I can't bear this pain inside my chest or the emptiness your absence brings. You were amazing, so incredibly talented and I wish the World had the opportunity to see you through my eyes. God I just wish I didn't have to write this, I can barely see, it'll take me hours I know to even hit the "post". Still in denial, hoping you'll just show up one-day and wonder at all the fuss 😞

Big Mumma, you were so very special and I'm so honoured and privileged that I got to be your person for the short time you graced this earth. I wish I'd chosen some very different paths, and that you had the opportunities you deserved. While I may have taught you a thing or two, I think you showed me the most. Thankyou, for the good, the bad and in between, thankyou for everything, I'm so grateful for you.
I'm so sorry we'll never get the chance to raise that little Reno baby.

I love you, I hope you knew how much, until the day we meet again I can wish that old Peppy, Rythym and Cupid keep you company as you gallop those lush green fields, no doubt in the lead 👑🏆

Recent studies conducted by the Institute of Heart-Math provide a clue to explain the two-way ′′healing′′ that occurs when we're close to horses.
According to researchers, the heart has an electromagnetic field larger than the brain: a magnetometer can measure the energy field of the heart that radiates from 2.4 meters to 3 meters around the human body.
While this is certainly significant, perhaps more impressive than the electromagnetic field projected by the heart of a horse is five times larger than that of a human being (imagine an electromagnetic sphere around the horse) and it can influence straight into our own heart rate.
Horses are also likely to have what science has identified as a "coherent′′ heart rate (heart rate pattern) that explains why we can feel better when we're close to them. Studies have found a coherent heart pattern or HRV to be a solid measure of well-being and consistent with emotional states of calm and joy-that is, we exhibit such patterns when we feel positive emotions.
A coherent heart pattern is indicative of a system that can recover and adapt to stressful situations very efficiently. Many times, we just need to be in the presence of horses to feel a sense of well-being and peace.
In fact, research shows that people experience many physiological benefits by interacting with horses, including lower blood pressure and heart rate, higher beta-endorphins (neurotransmitters acting as pain suppressors), decreased stress levels, decreased feelings of anger, hostility, tension and anxiety, better social working; and greater feelings of empowerment, confidence, patience and self-efficacy.

Maybe it's your turn to raise your babies, instead of traveling the world.

Maybe it's your turn to dig in to those textbooks and write those essays for that college class, instead of being the CEO.

Maybe it's your turn to be in the trenches, instead of in the spotlight.

Maybe instead of chasing cows and the horizon line, it's your turn to chase dreams somewhere else.

Being jealous of anyone else's highlight reel is a waste of the joy you have right in front of you. Maybe that girl you are jealous of, is actually as envious of your life as you are of hers.

Maybe it's time to stop wishing for her life, her talents, and her troubles. Instead, I pray you embrace your own gifts. Everyday is a new chance to shine. It's always your turn to be amazingly you.

When it feels like God doesn't answer your prayers in your preferred time frame, maybe He's really just saying, "Just wait, girl. It's not your turn for that, 𝓎𝑒𝓉."
