We are so excited to finally announce that Bernie's Dachshund Delights is now proudly verified with RightPaw 🐾💙

We have held off joining over the last couple of years because before becoming a part of RightPaw, I wanted to make sure not only that our values aligned with theirs, but that their code of ethics also aligned with our own high standards and expectations as breeders.

After watching RightPaw grow, seeing the amazing breeders involved, speaking with their team, and genuinely loving what they stand for, we decided it was finally the right time to take the next step.

Yesterday we had our official interview and passed with flying colours ✨

Not only were they extremely happy with how we raise our puppies and care for our dogs — who are first and foremost treated as beloved family members — but I was also incredibly impressed by their knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining such high standards within ethical breeding.

Our puppies are raised right here in our home alongside our family of 6, with endless love, socialisation, enrichment, and only the highest quality care and nutrition. We are passionate about giving every puppy the absolute best start in life and matching them with wonderful forever homes.

Firstly, we just wanted to apologise for being a little quiet lately 🐾

Behind the scenes, we recently discovered another breeder operating under the same name as us. Although we have been operating for many years, we made the tough decision to move forward with a new name to avoid any confusion going forward.

Because of this, we’ve been very busy in the background organising everything that comes with a rebrand, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support while we navigate this new chapter.

We are so excited to officially continue our journey as Bernie’s Dachshund Delights 💛 (you will start to see the changes on our page over the coming days)
While the name may be changing, everything else remains the same — our love for the breed, our dedication to raising happy, healthy puppies, and the care we put into every single one of our babies. As some of you already know we are a family of 6 and have nothing but admiration for the Dachshund breed. Our dogs arnt just our pets but our family members.

We don’t just breed dachshunds because we love dogs — we breed because we genuinely love this breed and the joy they bring into people’s lives. Watching our puppies grow, seeing the bond they create with their families, and knowing they are going to loving homes is the most rewarding part of what we do. Every litter is raised with so much love, care, and attention from the very beginning. We also love to help people become the best puppy parents they can by guiding them and providing so much information.

To all of our past puppy families, thank you so much for your continued support over the years.
