🐴 NOT JUST A BROODMARE! 🐴

Just because she’s not being ridden doesn’t mean her dental health should take a back seat!

This broodmare’s mouth was hiding some SERIOUS dental disease! 😳

🦷 Diastemata and periodontal disease
🦷 Exposed pulp (root canals!)
🦷 Fractured and mobile teeth
🦷 Missing and overgrown teeth
🦷 Dental caries
🦷 Painful soft tissue ulceration

Severe dental disease can cause chronic pain, infection, difficulty eating and poor body condition — none of which are ideal for a pregnant mare!

Systemic infection and poor maternal health are also concerns during pregnancy.

Your broodmare deserves the same dental care as your ridden horses!

A thorough, sedated oral examination by a qualified equine dental veterinarian is essential for identifying painful dental problems that can otherwise go completely unnoticed.

🐴🩵 Healthy mares. Healthy foals. Healthy horses, happier humans!

Congratulations to our sponsored rider Stacey Briggs who took out the Barastock Horse Peter Gahn memorial show jumping championship yesterday at St Arnaud Show on her trusty red steed Raff! 🧡

She also took home second place on her baby Snowball in the 60cm, who we are particularly fond of (being a home bred DEVS horse 😜). ☃️

Well done team 👏

Fabulous (rare) weekend of enjoying one of my own horses! Another super valuable gardinerequestrian clinic, this time with my young horse Gibbs. We both learnt so much and looking forward to practising and improving lots before the next clinic in the new year! I cannot recommend Joe’s clinics enough for anyone who wants to have a better partnership with their horse and understand the psychology of horse behaviour. A massive shout out to host Carolina at Serenity Park Equestrian in Yendon for organising and hosting! Shoot me a message if you’d like to be on the list for the next clinic!
