🤑 Meet our million dollar Haimish 🤑

What was meant to be an appointment with the specialist about his snotty nose, turned into yet another surgery where they found more stuff stuck up his little piggy nose 🐽

The 2nd picture is what was stuck there (2 tiny bits of something). No wonder he was snotty and gross. No idea what it is, but the vet has never had a dog return with something stuck up their nose. We are apparently very unlucky (I could have told her that 🙃)

He is home now, much to Cindy's delight (she was miserable without him) and sleeping soundly 💤

It was very quiet without him today, give your pets an hug tonight 🐾💜

I'm very lucky to work from home and that Betty has grown accustomed to having her ears brushed each day (only because she wants treats) 😋
This is our routine every afternoon when I start grooming. Next step is getting her used to having the rest of her brushed, she's a stubborn little bossy boots...... groomers struggle too 😬🤪🐾

Very sad post today 💔

Little Minnie gained her wings yesterday at only 3 years old.

Poor Minnie had been experiencing seizures and other medial issues for a while now, and her mum Tracey had done absolutely everything to find the cause and treat it.

Minnie was a tiny little darling and would get so excited to come for grooming, just so she could play with my pups. She was absolutely perfect 💖

Her time her was short, but she had a lifetime of love from Tracey.

Sending all our love to Tracey and her family.

Poor Haimish has been struggling with his breathing and anxiety a lot more lately. This has caused him to struggle more with grooming.
Drying and brushing that floof takes a long time, and he started hyperventilating during his last couple of grooms and having trouble cooling down after walks.
So after some consultation with some of my favourite groomers, I took the plunge and clipped him into a lion trim hoping it would help him cool down easier. (I can't bring myself to trim his mane and antenna's just yet)

Well, success, the little man is already showing signs of feeling better, his breathing has improved and he recovered from his walk today in a couple of minutes not 10+ it usually takes.

As groomers we are taught not to clip double coats, especially Pomeranians as it can effect their coat and alter the way they regulate their temperature, but if the dog is struggling medically or cannot tolerate the grooming process of removing dead undercoat, then sometimes clipping is actually the best thing for them.

I will always do what is best for the dog, and whilst I am sad clipping his fur, I am so overjoyed to see how much happier he is without full coat.
