For my wonderful clients & friends who follow Drift's Scent Work Journey.

Saturday morning we went to a trial. It was run by Midland Dog Training Club, at Herne Hill Primary School. Lovely new venue for the trial.

So pleased to confirm that Drift managed to get a pass in Excellent Interior and Excellent Container elements. This is his first pass in a scent trial in a year. So that now has again given my confidence a well needed boost to continue on this journey with him.

Doing Scent Work with your dog is just so much fun.
This is a photo of a very tired Drift today after we went to a "fun" event for the CASSA group on Saturday night with his ribbons. He really does not enjoy me taking his photos. As you can see by the goobers I always have to deal with :-(

There were two searches set up for competitors comprising of "Containers". Not one of our strongest elements so we went to refresh Drift's ability as he has been on limited training for a while and we are easing back into it.
He managed the two passes, and he had fun doing those searches which was good for me to see him getting some mojo back.🥰🐾🐾

Had the absolute pleasure of catching up with this handsome boy recently. I initially met him as a puppy he is now a very cute "teenager".
We went over some things he needed a refresher on and needing tweaking now he is a bit older and understanding how that teenage brain can be difficult for owners to always understand.
Needless to say, he was certainly tired by the end of the session, but I managed to get a photo and head tilt before he lied down to snooze and rest from his training and learning.
His owners are doing a fabulous job with him.🐾🐾🥰

I am so very privileged and lucky to have many wonderful dog/puppy owners who started their journey with me originally as clients (with previous dog members who have now passed) and have gone on to become very good friends to me.

Here is my stunning young visitor I had yesterday. This gorgeous, stunning little Rottie along with his human dad are going to continue on their learning and training with me. He was listening and watching intently whilst a put a coffee down for his dad before our play and engagement was happening and then when he got home needed to have a big sleep with his new toy.
The toy he is enjoying his sleep with was received from Drift's best friend and his most favourite person that is Drift's toy giver.. but he does like to share this person with others when he can. 🐾🐾😂

He will get to see some wonderful Shelties soon too who along with their lovely owner who started as a client many years ago and has become a friend also and continue their journey of learning, and having fun and always knowing I am there to support and help them with any issues they have at anytime. 🥰

Feeling very lucky to have these opportunities and being a part of the dogs and the humans lives too. ❤

For my clients that follow and listen to my journey with Drift in his scent trials. We had one this week. Some lovely photos taken by the professional photographer that was there hidden behind the scenes :-) Jodie Grieve Photography. she has captured Drift & I having a happy dance/celebration with some good progress with Drift finding 2 out the 3 hidden odors in the containers.
We did not pass this time...but the enjoyment we had together really is all I could want and ask for. That is what it is all about in the end. Having a great day out with my own dog.
Just love this boy to bits. 🐾🐾🥰❤
