After a short hiatus, Mum—who thought her child-rearing days were over and that all her chicks had flown the coop and left the nest—has found herself back on chick duty... only this time they're fluffy, feathered and much easier to feed! 🐥😂

So, I'm egg-cited to announce we have four unsexed gorgeous 1-week-old Black Silkie chicks available.

I've seriously downsized my flock from around 50 birds and now have just one breeding trio, so stock is very limited.

A quick update from Berry Good Eggs 🐔

Berry Good Eggs will be taking a little break while I find a new place for the flock, operations and set up our next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my hobby, bought eggs, followed along, and cheered on the chooks. I truly appreciate every one of you. X

I'll keep the page updated and look forward to seeing you again once the kids, girls and I are settled in our new home.

Until then, keep your peckers up! 🐓

EOI — 13 month old emu (Velly) 🖤

Looking for her (suspected) own mob to call home.

Sadly, while I was away last week, her bonded partner escaped after a tree came down on a fence. He has not been recovered and unfortunately is unlikely to be 😔 Since then she has become very lonely.

She has been raised alongside peacocks, chickens, geese and turkeys, and has worked well as a livestock guardian.

She is approximately 150cm tall and will require a purpose-built trailer for transport (horse or similar fully enclosed with rubber flooring)

She is currently penned in a small yard, so catching her should be fairly straightforward, however you WILL need to bring a friend to help load her.

Something a bit different today...posting on behalf of 6yr old owner in exchange for helping me chicken wrangle.

Baby Bearded Dragon to discuss 🦎

Approx 3 months old. Healthy and active.

RFS: We have two and they’ve started fighting — time for separate bachelor pads.

He can be a bit bitey, so may not be suitable for very young or first-time owners (unless your 6-year-old thinks he’s Crocodile Dundee like mine 😅).
