Hamilton Bugs for Beardies Hamilton Bugs for Beardies is a hobby business located in Bentleigh, Melbourne. They are packed immediately before your arranged collection time.

We sell live woodies, superworms and (sometimes) crickets for local pickup only (no mailing). Our hobby business began when one of our kids bought a pet bearded dragon, which was eating 20+ crickets per day. Always looking for new projects, we thought we we would try breeding crickets ourselves. This proved very successful, producing an abundance of crickets which we have been happy to sell to oth

er local reptile owners to cover our ongoing costs. We then tried our hand at breeding wood roaches (woodies) and superworms, both of which were also successful, so much so that there are too many bugs for our beardies! We sell boxes of crickets, woodies and superworms for $5 each, and provide many more than you get in pet stores for that price. Please note, our supply of bugs is for local pickup only - absolutely no shipping.

Ready-made wood roach (woodie) colony set-ups now available for order.
Ever wanted to breed your own woodies for your reptiles to eat, but didn't know where to start. We can do it all for you! For $80 you will get a complete set up (vented plastic 50L tub with fluon strip inside, cardboard housing, food tray and an established colony with approximately 1000 wood roaches (woodies) of varying sizes. All you will need to do is provide food and a little warmth and you are good to go! Save yourself $$$$.
