BC Horse Training

Video of some of the Groundwork we do with the horses here at BC Horse Training.

Dash was struggling to connect his body due to old injury causing him to block the use of his right hind.

These exercises have assisted him to gain more correct use of his limbs, Connection and Confidence in how he uses his body and responds to what's asked of him.

He use to panic, rush and want to run from what's was asked.

He's developed trust, Connection & Calmness in the way he moves now in and out if different movements.

Treatment Day today at BCHT.

Bodywork is a big factor to our Holistic Horsemanship approach at helping a horse let go of any tension, mental blocks or resistances occurring in their body's.

Or just keeping them Happy during their stay here with us so it's a great experience for the, during the training period.

Prevention is better than cure.

Soreness can play a big influence on behaviour and we always look at all factors & work through an Elimination process.

We treated 6 horses today.

With either Me Joanne Rose Campbell doing Emmett4horses on horses here or getting in The Amazing Denise Daniel from Equine Performance.

Thanks for today Denise some very successful treatments and I'm sure the horses are thankful too 🙏 😊.

Tinsel is coming along kindly - this little Quarab mare is 14yrs Old and being started to Saddle by us.

She's alot like a little gelding we had by the same stallion. She has plenty of character and alot to say as a mature mare starting her ridden career later in life.

She is sweet natured, kind but she has an opinion about everything - which is nothing Ed can't handle and nothing a little bit of Mental work won't fix.

Maturity put's alot of ppl off on starting horses past a particular age and we know of trainers that say No to horses of her age coming to them for starting, Not here at BCHT.

This little mare as mature as she is, she is going to make a lovely riding horse for someone in the near future.

Out and About in our Horse park for Dash today.

This beautiful TB Gelding is lacking confidence around his legs and so Ed thought horse park was a great training for him today.

Dash came out of this training session much calmer and more confident around placing his hooves on things, Going up and down on Obstacles calmly thinking about where he needed to place his feet.

And Trusting what Ed was asking of him.

All in all a fabulous session for Dash ;).
