Located Northern VIC.
Wheaten hay in 8x4x3, big squares. Grown and baled by long time hay producer. Cattle aren’t leaving any of this hay behind, plenty of grain and plenty of colour as you can see, by the photos. For this hay the minimum load is a semi. You’re welcome to send your own truck or I can help arrange your transport. $280 plus g per tonne.

A lot of people forget where they came from, really quick. Opportunities that made you something and gave you a start are soon forgotten. Appreciation starts slipping away, the whinging then starts, you’re not getting payed enough, someone else got to have 5 mins extra smoko. Loyalty goes out the door, you’d rather slag the boss than thank him. You’d rather laugh and watch mistakes than stand and be proud and say we built something together.

If someone didn’t throw you the truck keys and say have a go or let you pay off a small loan to get a start where would you be now! Where would your family be? Would you have been able to afford to make this family you now have? It’s all quickly forgotten.

Just being grateful is a beautiful attribute to have!

The news I’ve been struggling with. I have been telling people for a long time. I’m going to do a small load day for some time. I pushed hard to get through last years drought but since I haven’t been well. I’ve had a couple of jump starts in Intensive care and then I’ve done wonderful art work to myself, I showed a picture of the nicest one. As I can’t seem to stay up right. In 7 days I lost 6kg of muscle, felt like I’d run a marathon everyday.
But I need to be really honest. I’ve had 1 surgery, but no real answers. I have to go to Melbourne for I’m not sure what yet!
Sandhurst stockfeeds in Bendigo have been kind enough to sell the hay that I would normally sell on the smaller load days. They may need a call for some notice of maybe teff rounds or different things that they might not have on hand but they will get them in for you if you ask them kindly, from my farm. I’m sorry I’ve let a lot of people down. But you can’t do what you can’t do. Me putting it off and just living in hope that I’ll be magically better hasn’t happened just yet.
The boys are doing a wonderful job and still sending huge amounts of hay especially into those farmers in those drought areas of our wonderful country.
I have never sat still for very long so when I’m back expect me to be firing on all 8 cylinders. I have a few ideas up my sleeve, we might do some changes and have a bit of fun on the farm. I’ve never been known to be boring, quiet and I maybe a bit cheeky, so I’d love to hear some ideas of what we can do, some competitions, maybe, think outside the box. I’m really sorry for the people I have let down at this time. I hope all of your animals are enjoying a bit of wet weather and yiu are all doing well. I’ve been missing our conversations!
Cheers Erin xx

Anzac Day!
Today we celebrate the freedom that was handed to us by the fallen before us. We all have so much freedom in this country and it is all because of these men and women that have given the greatest sacrifice. They left there families for the unknown horror that they were about to experience, they all deserve our respect and to be held at the highest regard. What was asked of them, was inhumane and the sacrifices and choices they had to make whilst under horrible circumstances was heroic. They achieved the goal! To keep our beloved Australia the country of freedom, we all enjoy and love.

The simplest forms of freedom to me are the most cherished. Galloping a horse and feeling the fresh air blowing in my face, or standing on my small patch of dirt and admiring that it’s my patch of dirt! Going through the gears in an old 18 speed up the road with a load of fresh hay on the back for my cows at home. None of this would be felt without the sacrifices made by our warriors, true hero’s!

Today is a day we be thankful, proud and grateful to be Australian!

Low sugar teff hay. The post is up, the day is tomorrow for small loads!
Heavy bales, beautiful and green. Selling in mixed loads on trucks, will be doing a small load pick up day as soon as I can. Keep an eye on the page for this.
Trucks are to call for orders, be kind, if I don’t answer leave a message, I’ll call you when I can. I’m in a fire zone and service is terrible. All other hay available.

Edit: All the questions coming in about the small load pick up day, the information will all be provided on the post I do. I can’t answer all the messages, I promise all the info will be on that post. I understand people maybe desperate for different types of hay and I feel for you guys but I’m one person. I have a fair bit on my plate at the moment!
