This horse was sore through the poll, hyoid, base of the neck, girth, and hamstrings.

I always assess and treat the whole body, but I started with the scapula. In my experience, a lot of soreness stems from this area.

One of the biggest mistakes we can make is focusing only on where the horse is sore. Often, the source of the problem lies somewhere else.

That's why I always look at the horse as a whole, not just the symptoms.
