🤍🐾 AMORE CAVALIERS AND POODLES – BREEDING UPDATE 🐾🤍

As we have now finished our breeding plans for 2026, we won’t have any puppies available until next year! ❤️

Our beautiful breeding dogs are enjoying some well-deserved time off, and we’re looking forward to planning our upcoming litters for 2027. 🐶✨

💕 Looking for a particular colour or gender?

We always welcome expressions of interest from families who are hoping to welcome a new furry family member into their home!

If you have your heart set on a particular colour, whether it be a Blenheim, Tri-colour, Ruby, Black and Tan, or a specific gender, you’re more than welcome to get in touch and let us know what you’re hoping for.

While we can’t guarantee specific colours or genders in each litter, knowing what families are looking for helps us keep you updated when we have suitable litters planned.

🏡 Planning ahead is always welcome!

If you’re hoping to welcome a puppy in 2027, feel free to send our page a message, introduce yourself and let us know what you’re looking for. We’re always happy to chat with prospective families and keep you informed about future plans.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Amore Cavaliers and Poodles. We’re so grateful to all the families who have welcomed one of our babies into their homes, and we look forward to another exciting year ahead! 🤍🐾

🤍 A little announcement from Amore Cavaliers and Poodles 🤍

We’ve made the very special decision to keep one of the beautiful boys from Marley and Rambo’s litter! 🐾❤️

We’re so excited to watch this little man grow and develop, with the hope that he will join our breeding program in a few years’ time.

We love being able to watch our lines continue to grow here at Amore Cavaliers and Poodles, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this special little boy. 🐶✨

For now, he gets to enjoy being a much-loved and spoiled member of our family while he grows into the handsome boy we know he will be!

The next generation of Amore Cavaliers and Poodles starts here! 🤍🐾

🐾 A little guide to understanding DNA results in Cavaliers 🧬

These two charts explain different types of genetic information.

The first shows how results such as clear, carrier and affected can be inherited for some single-gene conditions. The percentages are possible chances for each puppy, and litter results can vary.

The second explains the NEBL3 marker, sometimes called the “AG gene” test, and its association with early-onset mitral valve disease (MMVD). It’s a risk marker—not a diagnosis or guarantee. AG/GG doesn’t mean no risk, and AA doesn’t mean a dog will definitely develop heart disease.

The inheritance percentages in the first chart don’t apply to the AG marker. Each DNA result needs to be understood in the context of the specific condition or marker being tested.

At Amore Cavaliers & Poodles, we use DNA testing and careful pairing choices as we work towards producing clear puppies for inherited conditions where a clear result is relevant. We also consider risk markers as part of our broader health decisions.

We hope these charts make DNA results a little easier to understand. Regular veterinary checks remain important for every Cavalier. 💗
