🌟 Seeking a Long-Term Foster Home for Zeus 🏡

Meet Zeus, a loving nine-year-old boy who recently joined our care after being at risk of euthanasia. His owner’s demanding work schedule and conflicts with neighbors left him vulnerable, but he’s now safe with us.

Thanks to a wonderful member of our community who generously contributed towards Zeus’s veterinary care, he had a mass removed from his lip and is forever grateful. 🩷

Just when we thought we were making progress, we received the heartbreaking news: Zeus tested positive for heartworm. But we believe in him and are committed to giving him the second chance he deserves.

Zeus is a gentle soul, great with other dogs and children, but he does require supervision around cats. He needs our help now more than ever.

Leo is a 2 year old Staffy who has found himself in the pound through no fault of his own.

His elderly owner loved him, but at 80 years of age could no longer manage a young, energetic dog.

Leo is happy, friendly, healthy, desexed, and up to date with vaccinations and worming.

But Leo is now on a deadline.

He must be out of the pound by Friday afternoon.

We urgently need a foster home in the Southern Downs, Toowoomba, Ipswich or Scenic Rim regions.

We desperately need a loving foster home for this beautiful girl, who weighs a gentle 41kg.

If you’re a bulldog lover, you’ll be smitten by her charm! The vet has described her as the most beautiful and sweet-natured dog, showcasing her gentle spirit as she wanders the clinic, completely unfazed by other dogs, big or small.

She’s currently in Toowoomba but can easily be transported to Ipswich, Brisbane, or the Gold Coast. Please help us find her a safe and loving place to call home! 💖

Can anyone open their heart and home to this beautiful boy?

Age: Approximately 9 years old
Breed: Assumed Irish Setter mix
Location: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich or Toowoomba preferred

He is around 9 years old and is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. Due to a change in circumstances, he needs somewhere safe, loving and stable where he can finally get the second chance he deserves.

We have been told he is such a sweet, friendly boy. He has been good with people, good with children, and has been calm and friendly with other dogs too. He is untested with cats.

He has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for the right person or family.

We are hoping to find him a foster-to-adopt home. Foster-to-adopt is a beautiful option because it gives both you and the dog time to settle in, get to know each other, and make sure it is the right fit before making things official. It also means he can move into a loving home environment while everyone works out whether it is his furever home.

At Second Chance Companions, we believe every animal deserves safety, kindness and a fresh start. This boy deserves exactly that.
