Yesterday Fable attended his second agricultural show, and hit the show pony ring for the first time 😍

Just like his first Ag, once he had a little look at the hustle and bustle he decided it was fine and got to work. He was respectful and easy to handle in his led classes, and gave his all to his ridden workouts. He has really taken in his further education and he was balanced, forward, and working into the bridle well.
He also then went and hit the show jumping ring again with another neat round! He is more woah than go around the courses, placing 3rd in his class.
Fable will be returning to the market, and is ready for viewings.

Fable is a straightforward ride, smart little all rounder, and adaptable pony.
Fable is a smart young pony and needs a rider to continue his career, please no beginners just yet.
Fable has enough forwards to get around a jumps course or dressage arena with ease, and enough chill to be happy to plonk along on a loose rein. He isn't over eager to work harder than he needs to to get the job done, but posesses a good work ethic when you ask for more.
For a more knowledgable rider Fable now has established leg yields, established walk to canter, rides in a correct frame/outline, and is enjoying furthering his understanding of dressage.
Fable has attended his first Agricultural Show seeing rides, crowds, hustle and bustle, and was ridden by a nervous novice junior all day around the jumps courses! He didn't receive a work down in the morning, just jump on, warm up, and go. He was extremely honest, supported his rider's nerves and fumbles, and after watching the rides go off the first time he continued without a care.
He was broken in, trained, and competed by a knowledgeable junior rider, and has been willing to give everything a go. He has attended combined training, horse trails, freshmans, pony club, and social rides with her.
Since returning home we have furthered his education, outings, and he is soft, responsive, and ready for his next adventure.
Fable has started competed with positive start to the competition world, and is ready to continue onwards & upwards in his new home. He is schooling PC Grade 3 - 2 / Novice on the flat, and up to 80cm over jumps at home. Has competed up to 70cm with plenty of promise. Now schooling Grade 3 PC on cross country and with further development will be very comfortable competing all phases at this level and in time higher.
He has taken home good placings, including reserve Champion at Barwon Equine Showjumping Tournament Round 5 (F Grade), and Champion at Smythesdale Horse Trials (30 pen, 76% dressage test), as well as placings and clear rounds with novice riders showing he is a truly fun and honest ride for a child.
Fable is good to catch, load, ties well, is good to yard or leave at float at comps, easy to rug, wash, feet, etc.
As much as he is an honest & adjustable ride - he is still a young horse and will require a home and rider who will continue to bring him along with that in mind. He has been correctly & kindly started to set him up for success and we want to see that trajectory continue as he truly has talent.
He is the perfect pony to finish in whatever discipline your heart desires & will be a treasure for the whole family.

Happy to wait for the perfect home as we have already done. His only two serious viewings thus far found his only flaw to be his height - please keep in mind he is a small connemara and very much pony size."
