Beau had a ball at the Colac Pony Club Combined Training.

Wasnt his usual level of cadence in the dressage but he gave a good effort and a clear round of showjunpjng ending just out of the placings. Very proud of his improvement in his jumping phase.

Some bits of what we've been up to with lovely big standy Zues, working on his balance and confidence under saddle, working out how to use his body and slow his big bouncy trot down, as well as sharpening up his canter.
What a lovely big boy he is.

Had a ball working with this smart little mare for 3 weeks working in her understanding on balance, working forwards over the back, and sharpening up her transitions.
What an absolute pleasure to work with

Suzie also came down to Smythesdale coming back from her winter break with a bang. She was her usual reliable self and apart from her pilot pressing a few wrong buttons (sorry Suzie ive been riding too many babies) she produced some lovely tests with some brilliant comments and even scoring a good few 8s against a good sized field of quality horses.

Friday she places 6th in the 2.2 and 3rd in the 2.3

Saturday she placed 3rd in the 2.2 and received the Best Performed Standardbred award for the two days. A huge thank you to SPPHAV and HERO for sponsoring the award.

Absolutely lovely two days of dressage at Smythesdale on Friday and Saturday.

Beau continuing to put his dancing shoes on for his first HRCAV tests showing some lovely moments as he continues to find his confidence in the ring.

Friday he placed 2nd in the 3.2 and 5th in the 3.3

Saturday he placed 5th in the 3.2 and 2nd in the 3.3

Super impressed with how he handled himself for both days.

That's Fable, but that's not our place - in fact, it's not even Victoria!
We are so thrilled to say that we have found Fable's new home, over in Tassie šŸ¤© his new family came to meet him on Wednesday, and by Thursday evening he set sail (literally!).

Wishing you all the best little man. We will really miss you šŸ”

Super proud of Fable on the weekend, he has been spelling for a few months whilst I focus on other horses but Beau came in Thursday with an abscess so Fable came on an impromptu fill in trip to Bacchus Marsh Pony Club for their showjumping event.

He remembered exactly what those colourful poles meant and had a ball zooming around despite his winter woolies. He was by far the smallest horse in his section by a good hand and a half but he held his own and jumped super well to get 5th and 3rd.

Great day out with Beau at the Maryborough Horse Riding Club & Dunolly Horse Activity Club joint shows.

So proud of how well Beau worked in a huge group of 9 horses in his level all on the circle together, he listened perfectly and didn't once feed off other horses having moments or opinions.

His work got better and better throughout the day to get many placings, even winning his Ridden Mount, winning Mount Most Suitable for HRCAV in both rings, and going on to get both Reserve Champions for MMS against a fantastic group of horses.

It was lovely to see so many riders out supporting these shows with every level having great numbers, and both clubs did a fantastic job of running their rings and creating a great environment.

Beau also worked his little socks off on Sunday after a rather eventful morning left him with very minimal warm up. Im very impressed with how he pulled himself together and worked, showing improvements every time he steps in the ring.

He finished the day 4th in the 3.1, 1st in the 3.2, and Reserve Champion
