Bellingara Stud - Welsh Mountain Ponies

Super proud mummy moment!

When you can drag the pony out of the paddock and she is forward, with knee and hock action
And then she comes down 10 gears so the kids can drive her safely and sanely

This is literally how legend ponies are made!

I am always very grateful to the community around me, who help in small or large ways so we can continue to produce safe ponies ridden or driven

I'd always wondered if I'd find another owendale claudia and I'd still say NO (sorry star) but bellingara starbright sure earned her 2nd place award in our stables this year

Not by the ribbons she has won - though she has been lucky to have been awarded many in led ridden(lead rein) and harness

But we judge her and lay credit to her by how she can go from show stopper to kids pony with just a change of driver holding the reins

But her most decorated and prestigious award goes to both her first and second placings in the Junior drivers class

She did not do any turnouts this show due to a minor truck fault, but nonetheless the team came together and I wanted to debut the shetland .. so shetland came before turnouts 😆

To Kylie Andrews for putting on a wonderful show. No one understands the works that goes on behind the scenes before during and after the show. Meanwhile, you managed to get 2 ponies in the ring. You are super woman!

To my friends and fellow team mates Heartland Show Horses always being their to assist and always offering to help - you are always part of our combined team!

Wabbit -

1 week of in shafts training and off we went to a state show
I'm either crazy or this pony has me fooled she was confident to go.

3rd in her novice class out of 3 but what a huge step. .. She was super confident
What a big future she will have !! Sooo proud her and the team behind her

This is actual testament to HER temperament and to her prior years of handling, training and showing.

She was green in her workout but was just a solid drive. Can't wait to get miles on this girl and have her show ready next year!

Violet is so keen to get her out and driving her everywhere 💜

But super proud of my team, the girls, the ponies and everyone in between who helped get us in and out of the ring

Super proud of Cameron

Riding bellingara starbright at the little red dragon show on the weekend in lead rein

He was so good at his up downs

Violet sat the riding out but did have a crack at leading her for her junior handler class

Star was awarded supreme a in both rings

We are so proud to see one of our talented young students representing at the Sydney Royal Easter Show this year!

Riding the beautiful Bellingham’s Starbright, proudly owned by her family at Jenala Welsh Stud, she showcased her skills with confidence and composure 💫

Taking home a big ribbon for Highly Commended in the Lead Rein Hunter Pony Class — an incredible achievement! 🎀
