Our 2025 Race To Ranch Entry
6yr old Standardbred mare “Bonnie’s Not Bad”
Super proud of everything this mare has been accomplishing an excited to show her to everyone this weekend 🖤
🌟 WELCOME BACK — 2023 Race To Ranch Champion Cailin Bobbermen! 🌟
This year, Cailin is back in the saddle with her mare Bonnie — “Bonnie’s Not Bad” 💛
Bonnie came up from Victoria mid-June after spelling from racing. She wasn’t the horse Cailin expected, but thanks to Jane from Dunroamin Standardbreds, Bonnie stepped off the truck instead — and what a journey it’s been!
From mounting block issues to an eye ulcer that meant two weeks of box rest (and some tummy troubles along the way), their prep has been stop–start — but through it all, Bonnie has proven herself with plenty of heart and try. 🐎✨
Cailin says:
“I wanted to do Race to Ranch again, but differently this time. I want to advocate for the people who feel restricted with ‘just having a standy’ — to show what these horses are capable of. Bonnie has held me accountable, challenged me, but she always tries her absolute heart out. We’re going out to have fun and do our best — she’ll always come first.” 💫
With just four months under saddle, Bonnie may be green, but she’s already showing she’s something special. After the Gathering, she may even be looking for a new home. 🏡
💛 Calin would also like to give a HUGE shoutout to:
✨ David Earle Custom Saddles — for gear that fits and keeps them comfy
✨ CEN Horse Nutrition — for keeping Bonnie healthy from the inside out
✨ Jane @ Dunroamin Standardbreds — for trusting Cailin with this special mare
Drop some love for Cailin & Bonnie in the comments — we can’t wait to cheer them on in the arena! 🎉🔥
