🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA! 🎉

From zookeeper 🦁🐒, to receptionist 📞, to future vet nurse 🩺🐾… honestly, Amanda, we’re starting to think you just collect careers! 😂

After spending years looking after animals, you decided you needed a change… so naturally you joined us! 🤣 You started on reception, but clearly that wasn’t enough of a challenge, so you thought, “Why not study to become a vet nurse as well?” Because apparently having one job and a social life wasn’t enough! 😂

You are one of the kindest, most caring and funniest people around, and you have this amazing ability to bring laughter to even the busiest or most chaotic days. ❤️

We absolutely love having you on our team — although we’re still not sure whether we hired you, or whether you just slowly worked your way into the place and decided you belonged here! 😂

We hope you have the most amazing birthday, filled with cake, laughs, presents and absolutely NO studying! 🎂🥂

Here’s to another year of adventures, animals, laughter and probably adding another qualification to your ever-growing collection! 😂🐾

Happy Birthday, Amanda! ❤️🎉

🐾 Our beloved Pets can’t tell us when something doesn’t feel right, so routine check-ups are a great way to spot potential problems early.

👀 Eyes – checking for irritation, cloudiness, infections or other changes.
👂 Ears – looking for redness, infection, inflammation or excessive wax.
❤️ Heart – listening for abnormal heart sounds and checking your pet’s circulation and overall condition.
🦷 Teeth – checking for plaque, tartar, gum disease, broken teeth and dental pain.

A simple health check gives your veterinarian the opportunity to pick up changes early and keep track of your pet’s overall wellbeing.

Prevention and early detection can help your pet enjoy more happy, healthy years by your side. 🐶🐱💕

🐾 Is your dog or cat getting older? Don’t wait for symptoms to appear!

Regular blood testing is an important part of caring for senior pets. Checking liver and kidney function can help your veterinarian identify changes that may not be obvious at home.

A blood test can also establish a baseline for your pet a record of what their normal results look like. Future blood tests can then be compared with this baseline, helping your vet monitor changes over time and make informed decisions about your pet’s ongoing care. ❤️🐶🐱

Early detection can make a real difference, so ask your veterinarian whether a senior blood screen is appropriate for your pet.

🐐💗 Meet Molly and her gorgeous week-old kid! 💗🐐

Molly came to meet us on Saturday after unfortunately developing mastitis. Poor girl was feeling uncomfortable, so Dr Stephan got her started on some medication to help give her some much-needed relief. 🩺💊🐐

And what a beautiful little family they are! 🥰 Molly and her week-old kid were such lovely, well-behaved goats and an absolute pleasure to meet. 💕🐐

We’re wishing Molly a speedy recovery and lots of happy days ahead with her adorable little kid! 🥰

🐭💙 All Creatures Great and Small! 💙🐭

Meet Mouse a very handsome little male mouse who was having far too much fun with the ladies! 😂🐭❤️

His owner wanted Mouse to still be able to hang out with his girlfriends without ending up with a whole mouse family, so they made the responsible decision to have Mouse castrated. 🐭✂️

Because Mouse is such a tiny little guy, this was micro surgery and required an incredibly delicate touch. 🩺🔬🐭 Dr Scott and Nurse Melissa took wonderful care of this little patient throughout his procedure. ❤️

Mouse fully recovered and can now get back to enjoying life with the girls — without the baby boom! 😂🐭💕

We love that veterinary medicine really does cover all creatures great and small! 🥰🐾

🐾💙 What an amazing job Arthur and Helen have done! 💙🐾

These beautiful Australian Cattle Dog puppies had a tough start, needing to be hand-raised from birth. 🍼🐶 It takes so much love, dedication, patience and many sleepless nights to give little pups the best possible start — and Arthur and Helen have done an absolutely fabulous job! 🥰👏

Watching these gorgeous little Cattle Dogs grow, thrive and develop into happy, healthy puppies has been so special. And of course… we absolutely loved all the puppy cuddles! 😍🐾💙

A huge congratulations to Arthur and Helen for everything they’ve done for these precious babies. ❤️

🪿💔 Waddle the Goose needs a little help

Poor Waddle has suffered a badly broken wing, and sadly, the injury is so severe that the wing will need to be amputated.

Waddle is in the caring hands of Dr Scott, Dr Stephan and Nurse Sarah, who will be doing everything they can to keep Waddle comfortable and give her the best chance at a happy life ahead. ❤️

It’s never easy seeing one of our feathered friends go through something like this, but Waddle has shown just how strong and resilient she is. 🥹🪿

Please send Waddle some love and positive thoughts as she recovers form surgery. We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way, Waddle! 🩷🪽

You’ve got this, Waddle! 💪🪿❤️
