Dog Bather / Dryer – Casual Christmas Role
The Fancy Flea Dog Grooming Studio – Bathurst, NSW

We're a busy rural dog grooming studio looking for a casual bather/dryer to help over the Christmas rush, with the potential to stay on afterwards in a more permanent role with set full-time days.

No grooming experience needed – we'll teach you. You just need to:
• Be confident and gentle handling dogs of all sizes
• Be reliable and happy to work hard on your feet
• Be ok with getting wet and covered in dog hair some days
• Follow directions and work well as part of a small team

What the job involves:
• Bathing, drying and brushing dogs
• Basic prep work before grooming (brushing out, nails, ears etc, as trained)
• Cleaning and setting up the studio between dogs
• Helping keep dogs safe, calm and comfortable

Details:
• Casual role over the Christmas period
• 3 days a week, no weekends or public holidays
• Training provided in a supportive studio environment
• Chance to continue after Christmas into a set-hours role for the right person

Last week we attended Ausgroom in Sydney…Immy competed in her very first model dog grooming competition at only 6 years old . And got 1st place & runner up best in show for the children’s section, while Mel competed in her first creative model dog competition & got 2nd place…. We also attended some informative seminars with two Japanese groomers. We had a great time & can’t wait for the next one.
