🐾 A Gentle Reminder From Our Team,
Caring for Pets and Each Other 🐾
Behind the clinic desk and inside our treatment rooms, our team members are human beings. We are parents, children, partners, and friends. We come to work every single day because we love animals and want to support our local community.
We completely understand that veterinary care can sometimes be an unexpected financial stress. Financial pressure is incredibly difficult, and we truly empathise with the worry that comes with having a sick pet.
However, we need to share something important.
Today, our staff were subjected to severe verbal abuse, swearing, and threats of violence including a threats to run over staff members because we do not offer in house credit.
While we understand the panic that financial stress can cause, we must also protect our team’s mental health and physical safety.
Our Financial Boundary
To keep our doors open and continue treating pets, we require payment at the time of service. Unfortunately, we do not offer in house payment plans.
Support Options Available
We proudly partner with several external providers to help make veterinary care more accessible, including:
• Afterpay
• Zip Money
• VetPay
We also accept Mary MacKillop Today interest free loans to help eligible families through difficult times.
🚫 Zero Tolerance for Abuse
Our team has families to go home to at the end of the day. Their safety and wellbeing will always come first.
Any threats, aggressive behaviour, abusive language, or intimidation towards our staff will result in an immediate and permanent ban from our practice, and where appropriate, the matter will be reported to police.
To the overwhelming majority of our wonderful clients thank you.
Thank you for treating our team with kindness, patience, and respect every day. Your understanding, and kind words mean more than you know, especially on days like today.
❤️ Thank You
