STATE FINALIST! 🏆

What a bloody incredible milestone. To be named a finalist in the 2026 NSW Business Awards is something I’m incredibly proud of.

From starting Clyde’s Equine Bodywork in 2024 to now being recognised at a state level… what a journey it has been. 🐴

There’s been plenty of hard work, long days, kilometres on the road, lessons learnt and moments where I’ve had to back myself — but every bit of it has been worth it.

I’m so proud of what this little business has grown into, and so grateful for every client who has trusted me with their horses and supported me along the way.

Now we wait… 🤞🏻🏆

NSW Regional Business Awards 2026

I’m still trying to find the words for this one.
Last night, Team Clyde walked into the NSW Regional Business Awards not expecting to hear my name called.

To walk away as the 2026 Outstanding Young Business Leader is something I am incredibly proud of, but even more so, incredibly grateful for.

When I started Clyde’s Equine Bodywork, I had a vision for a business that was built around my passion for horses, helping people and doing things a little differently. What I didn’t realise at the time was just how many people would become part of that journey.

Because behind every small business is a story.
It’s the early mornings, the long days on the road, the uncertainty, the decisions that keep you awake at night, the ideas that don’t quite work, the moments you question yourself — and then the milestones that remind you why you started.
And behind all of that are people.

The people who believe in you when you don’t quite believe in yourself. The people who listen to every idea, wipe away the tears, celebrate the wins and continue to back you through every season.

To my people — thank you. This award carries a little piece of all of you.

To my incredible clients, thank you for trusting me with your horses and your support. Every booking, recommendation, message and conversation has played a part in getting Clyde’s Equine Bodywork to where it is today. Without you, there is no business.

I also want to sincerely congratulate every finalist and winner. It is an incredible privilege to be surrounded by so many passionate people building businesses, creating opportunities and contributing to regional communities.

A huge thank you to the judges, the business chambers and everyone involved in bringing the NSW Regional Business Awards together. Nights like these are a wonderful reminder of the strength, resilience and ambition that exists within regional business.

I’m incredibly proud of how far this little business has come — and even more excited about where it can go from here.

From a dream, to a business, to standing on a stage accepting an award I never expected to win.

Last week, I had the pleasure of heading down to Victoria to treat six of the Three Nines horses🐎

This one feels like a pretty special full-circle moment. I’ve followed Shianne and the Three Nines team for many years, watching what they’ve built and taking so much inspiration from them — both personally and from a business perspective.

To now have the opportunity to work alongside the team and treat some of their incredible horses is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Thank you, Shianne and the Three Nines team, for welcoming me and giving me the opportunity to work on some pretty amazing horses. It was an absolute pleasure🤎

Here’s to the opportunities that come from simply backing yourself, putting in the work and continuing to learn along the way.

Who is the ETAA?💚

The Equine Therapy Association Australia (ETAA) is an organisation dedicated to supporting, connecting and representing professionals working within the equine therapy industry.

But why is that important?

As the equine therapy industry continues to grow, having an association that promotes education, professional development, ethical practice and industry standards helps create a stronger and more informed industry.

The ETAA provides a platform for practitioners to connect, learn and continue developing their knowledge — ultimately helping to promote better outcomes for both horses and their owners.

Meet Maverick 🐎

Maverick’s story is one that deserves to be shared.🩵

I’ve been working with him for over 12 months, and if I could show you his very first session compared to where he is today, you probably wouldn’t believe it.

In those early sessions, Maverick would try to kick, bite, turn away and walk off. We often couldn’t get past his neck and shoulders before he became too overwhelmed to continue.

Fast forward 12 months… and look at him now. 🥹
Three consecutive sessions of full-body work.
Yawning. Licking. Chewing. Relaxing.

And now… stretching. 🐎✨

The change hasn’t happened overnight. It’s been built through patience, consistency and allowing Maverick to feel safe and comfortable throughout the process.

His owner and I couldn’t be more proud of him.🩵

This is why we keep showing up. The progress might not always be obvious session to session, but one day you look back and realise just how far they’ve come.💪🏻

Here we go! The Clyde Team is off to the NSW Regional Business Awards!🩵

It honestly feels surreal. When I started Clyde’s Equine Bodywork, I never imagined it would grow into what it is today. These awards aren’t just recognition for a business—they’re proof that with passion, hard work and determination, you really can achieve whatever you set your mind to.

A massive thank you to my family. You’ve been there through the late nights, the tears, the milestones, the crazy ideas and every challenge in between. I couldn’t have done this without you.

To my incredible clients, thank you. You are the reason Clyde’s Equine Bodywork exists. This recognition belongs to all of us—to every owner who has chosen to invest in their horse’s wellbeing, to those who continue to learn, ask questions and strive to better understand their horses. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your horse’s journey.

I am so grateful and honoured to have been named Equine Therapist of The Year for ACT!🏆

They say you never work a day in your life if you are doing what you love. This is more than true, this job is more than a business. It is my passion, I have to remind myself how lucky I am to be able to go to work and forget that I am “working”.
