🦇 Batman the legend 🦇
Batty has been part of our crew for a while now, but recently he took some time off on sick leave . . . .
He unfortunately developed an autoimmune disease and his eye was trying to 💀 while still in his head.
We tried to save his eye, but unfortunately didn't win, so made the call to remove it.
Batty is a dead set legend. But being his near side eye, we weren't sure how he was going to handle it. Either way, he needed the eye out, and we would go from there.
The eye removal went well, but Batty was a bit wary of things, so we gave him an emotional support friend- Greyland (also a unicorn 🦄), and gave him time to adjust to paddock life.
He settled well, loved his new bestie and was happy in himself, so we decided to bring him back into work. He returned to work like he had never missed a day!
He is now back on the job, looking after his riders and living his best life again heading out in the trails
