Dusty says thankyou for all of the phone calls, messages and well wishes today. Surgery was a success and there was more damage than we first thought.
Unfortunately during his pre and post op xrays - his surgeon has found an issue with a growth plate in his other knee. Its recommended that this be repaired in the next 2 - 6 weeks (as soon as Dusty can weight bare on his repaired leg).
Sometimes- no matter how good their diet is, growth plates and pre disposed iss8es cannot be avoided. Rest assured our boy is getting lots of love and attention from all of us ! These next few months are going to be tough on our little man 😞
