We are a small animal veterinary hospital in Bankstown, established in 1948.

We have full hospital facilities with consultation rooms, surgery, in-house pathology, dental and digital x-ray as well as boarding facilities. We provide general care in the areas of vaccinations and check-ups, exploration and treatment for various conditions and ailments as well as surgical care for desexings and other soft tissue procedures. We also work with a network of specialists for specia

Our Motivation: Utilising the wonders of modern medicine to care for your loved ones. Our Care Philosophy: Each of our veterinary surgeon/nursing team members embarked on their studies and eventual careers in this profession to pursue their passion for animal health. We strongly believe in that passion and operate with animal welfare and long term care as the foremost factors of importance when we care for your animals. We strongly recommend preventative medicine and care for pets of all ages and we hope to foster responsible pet ownership by doing so. Our Quality of Care Vision: To be the best companion animal general practice in South Western Sydney. To reach this goal we strive to provide your pets with the best level of care. To help us achieve our aim of providing the best care each year our staff, both veterinarians and nurses, attend continuing education courses and seminars to keep up-to-date with advances in health science. We also embark on laboratory upgrades and addition of new equipment in the Hospitals as often as we can. We proudly operate two hospitals: Boundary Road Veterinary Hospital Peakahurst and Bankstown Veterinary Hospital. We share the same staff and live computer system for appointments and records between both hospitals so feel free to visit either.

Hi everyone! A quick heads-up about our holiday trading hours as we take a short break to rest, recharge, and enjoy some quality time with our loved ones. We’ll be closing from Christmas Day Thursday 25 December and back on Friday 2 January, refreshed and ready to care for your furry family members 💙

Our Hearts Are with the Bondi Community 💔

All of us at Bankstown Vet Hospital and Boundary Road Vet Hospital are deeply saddened by the tragic events in Bondi. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of those who lost their lives, and we are thinking of everyone affected by this awful event.

We praise and thank the brave first responders and heroes who helped without thought to themselves, whose courage and dedication in such difficult circumstances doubtless saved many lives.

Our thoughts are with the Bondi community and with all Sydney siders and Australians who are grieving today. Stay strong everyone.
