🦋Kenny is an 11-year-old Puggy who had a fall off the couch which unfortunately flared up an IVDD episode. IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) occurs when the discs between the vertebrae bulge or rupture, placing pressure on the spinal cord and affecting mobility and nerve function.

Kenny came to us for a second opinion and integrative therapy support as surgery wasn’t an option — and we absolutely adored him from the moment he came through the door 🐾💛

Kenny presented with: Struggling to properly use his hind legs• Delayed proprioception in both hind limbs (reduced awareness of paw placement)• Knuckling with no correction response• Reduced confidence and mobility

Our treatment plan for mister Kenny is: • Acupuncture — to help stimulate nerve pathways, improve circulation and support neurological recovery• K-Laser therapy — to help reduce inflammation, ease discomfort and encourage healing• A short course of cortisone — to assist in reducing spinal inflammation and discomfort• Rehabilitation support — gentle guidance to help improve movement and confidence at home

The best part? After just ONE session Kenny was already showing improvements:✨ Better paw awareness✨ Improved hind limb placement✨ More confidence moving around✨ A brighter, happier little face

We are so proud of this sweet boy and so excited to continue helping him on his healing journey 💕
