Late update of Flynn at Woady Horse Trials π΄β¨
Flynn is really turning into Mr Consistent, putting forward another double clear and finishing in 3rd place! π₯
He has now placed 5th, 1st and 3rd in his last few competitions, and Iβm so proud of how much more mature and rideable he is feeling each outing.
The dressage felt much better to me β more controlled, relaxed and settled β although maybe a little too relaxed for the judge this time. He still received a respectable score, just a little lower than I was hoping for. The dressage phase will definitely be our focus over the next few months, and Iβm hoping we may be able to step him up to 2* at some point next season.
He found the show jumping and cross country super easy, and travelled so well across country, which is always such a good feeling. π
Flynn also headed to Ballarat Pony Clubβs show jumping competition yesterday in the Open B Grade and jumped two lovely rounds, finishing 2nd overall. It was a great opportunity to get more exposure over spooky tracks locally.
A big thank you to the organisers of both competitions β everything was run so well. π
