Breaks my soul!!! I can’t even begin to understand how asian countries torture dogs, no regard or care! To me it’s not about eating the meat, it’s about the torture and disregard before these incredibly smart and beautiful animals die!! It’s like even skinning frogs alive… why not kill them humanly!! They sit on their stools in the meat markets and couldn’t care less!! What goes through their minds!!

He didn’t just talk about kindness. He helped save 200 dogs from a nightmare.

After donating $32,000, America’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell helped fund Humane Society International’s (HSI) rescue mission in South Korea, shutting down a dog meat farm in Gyeonggi-do.

It was the 13th farm closed by HSI, freeing over 200 dogs including poodles, labs, and collies who had been trapped in filthy cages and left to suffer in silence.

Wendy Higgins from HSI said the rescue was heartbreaking but worth every moment. “They were terrified but still craved love. Helping them feel safe again is the best feeling in the world.”

The rescued dogs are now safe in shelters across the U.S., U.K., Netherlands, and Canada, where they’ll receive care and finally find loving homes.

HSI also helped the farm owner start a new livelihood, showing that compassion can save both animals and people.

Thousands of dogs in South Korea still wait for freedom, but every rescue like this proves that change is possible and love can end even the cruelest traditions.
