Rocco is back in work completing two weeks of being brought back into work after a spell before he heads off to his new home, and he is once again proving what a special young horse he is.

His excellent temperament, relaxed nature and trainability have made him such a pleasure to work with. He is a kind, willing and sensible young horse who takes everything in his stride and this is a testament to his solid foundation of basics when he was broken in.

We sold Rocco out of work and offered a discounted retraining rate to get him going and give him the best start in his new home and this is something we can do for any of our clients purchasing a horse out of work, or wanting some further education.

We’re so excited to see where his new journey takes him once he heads to his new home next week ❤️

Five years ago, the Off The Track Community platform - www.ottcommunity.com.au - was created to help support Thoroughbreds beyond racing and connect the people who are passionate about their second careers.

Today, that community has grown to more than 12,000 members, with over 7,600 Thoroughbreds claimed and countless success stories shared across Victoria and beyond.

Over the past five years, we've celebrated the versatility of the Thoroughbred, provided educational resources and opportunities for owners, supported post-racing pathways, and continued to advocate for the welfare and visibility of retired racehorses.

Most importantly, we've built a community that recognises that a Thoroughbred's story doesn't end when they leave the racetrack.
