Green-eyed and stumpy-tailed Rosie is looking for a home! 🏡 💚

Rosie is a 2-year-old girl looking for a quiet, calm home where she can feel safe, take things at her own pace and learn to trust again after being surrendered to Warnbro Vets.

Rosie is still building her confidence, but she is already showing her foster family her sweet side! She is coming out of her hiding spots regularly for pats, and loves a good head and b***y scratch. She has even started sitting on her foster mum's lap when she’s feeling extra brave!
Her foster mama thinks there is a snuggly lap cat hiding inside her, just waiting for the right person to help her to blossom!

Her favourite game is chasing a ping pong ball at night when nobody is watching! She has also been enjoying wand toys and batting paper balls around. She is still very much a kitten at heart!

Rosie would love a home with cosy hiding spots, comfy places to nap, and a patient adult/s who understand that she needs time and space to settle in and feel secure.
We are looking for a home with no other cats and no young children. Older children who understand how to be gentle and respectful around cats would be suitable 💙

Our clinic will be closed for the long weekend so our staff can enjoy some well earned R+R! 🧘‍♀️☕️

Please note we will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday, back to usual hours from Tuesday next week.

Thank you so very much to everyone who donated and supported our bake sale yesterday and today.
Together, we were able to raise a whopping $1150 !!

Last year, 77,464 animals turned to the RSPCA looking for warmth, care, love and shelter. That's an average of 212 animals every single day!!

Every single dollar we raised goes directly to the RSPCA to help rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome neglected and abandoned animals across Australia. 💙

👇ADOPTION POST AND BIG RANT INCOMING👇

Introducing, or re-introducing we should say: Eevee 🌸
Some of you may recognise her, as this is sadly not the first fime we have needed to rehome Eevee.

Eevee was initially adopted out as a kitten from WVH, but surrendered back to us in February.
We successfully rehomed her… only to be notified last week that Eevee had been DUMPED at the Rockigham pound ‼️- with a note claiming she was a stray that had been hanging around this persons property for months ‼️
The kicker: the note was signed with the name and address of the family that had adopted her from us back in February, whom had promised to love and care for her!

We are obviously furious over this. And have successfully contacted the previous owners, whom claimed they knew nothing about the note… but didn’t want her back none the less, as she doesn’t get along with their other cats.

Had they contacted us directly at any point to say Eevee’s adoption wasn’t working out, we would have gracefully taken her back in, as per our adoption contracts. We never want any of our Warnbro babies dumped and discarded.
Eevee deserves better than this.

Now, a bit about the wonderful and quirky Eevee:

Eevee is a 4 year old domestic short hair. She is desexed, microchipped, and up to date with all of her vaccinations. She is outgoing, affectionate and always filled with wide eyed wonder!
Eevee has a head tilt, and is sometimes a little wobbly on her feet, this was not a condition she had prior to being adopted out in February.
We have treated her for an ear infection, but the tilt has remained. She otherwise has a clean bill of health, and the condition doesn’t cause her any pain or discomfort- It certainly doesn't slow her down!

They say Third times a charm, but we are hoping it is the final charm for this very special girl 💜

We are looking for a home with no young children, and preferably no younger cats or kittens.
We are unsure how Eevee will go with dogs or older cats, but all will be adjustment for her!
