💙 Meet the Vetcall Family: Sarah! 🐾

You'll usually hear Sarah before you see her! 😄

Sarah joined the Vetcall Ashmore family in September 2025, bringing with her a wealth of life experience after choosing to pursue veterinary nursing later in life. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and positive attitude have made her a much-loved member of our team.

She has a real passion for emergency and critical care, along with anaesthesia, and takes great pride in ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care, comfort, and compassion during their visit.

When she's not looking after your furry family members, you'll find Sarah out mountain biking, paragliding, or spending quality time with her beautiful rescue cat, Princess Charlotte. 🐱💙

We're so lucky to have Sarah as part of the Vetcall Ashmore family, and we know many of our clients and patients love seeing her smiling face in the clinic!

💙 Meet the Vetcall Family: Dr. Chris! 🐾

After almost 25 years running veterinary practices in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Dr. Chris joined the Vetcall Ashmore family in August 2025, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a genuine passion for helping pets and their people.

One of the things Dr. Chris loves most about general practice is that no two days are ever the same. Whether he's meeting new clients, treating a sick patient, or performing surgery, he's dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for every pet that walks through our doors.

While he enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Chris has a particular interest in urgent care, small animal surgery, reproduction, and eye and eyelid surgery.

Outside the clinic, you'll usually find him running a free taxi service for his four kids or relaxing at home with his lovable Dalmatian and two mischievous cats. 🚗🐶🐱

💙 Meet the Vetcall Family: Simone! 🐾

Simone has been veterinary nursing since 2014 and qualified in the UK, earning her Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. Her journey in the veterinary industry has given her a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for both patient care and creating a positive experience for every client who walks through our doors.

She has a special interest in both canine and feline behaviour and has opened her home to many foster animals over the years, reflecting her love and dedication to animal welfare both in and out of the clinic.

When she's not leading the team at Vetcall Ashmore, Simone loves exploring new places and spending quality time with her family, including her three sidekicks—Rosie the Cavoodle, Kobe the tuxedo cat, and Teddy the Toy Poodle. 🐶🐱💙

Simone is passionate about creating a welcoming experience for every client and leading a team that strives for the highest standard of care. She believes every pet deserves to be treated like family, and she's proud to work alongside a team that shares that same commitment every single day.

Many of our clients already know just how special Dr. Donna is. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine dedication to every pet and their family shines through in everything she does. She goes above and beyond each and every day, and we're incredibly grateful to have her caring for the pets of our community.

We think her fur-babies Kevin and Buddy are pretty lucky to call her their mum too! 💜

Eight little miracles 🐾❤️

This gorgeous girl welcomed 8 beautiful puppies into the world with a little help from our team at Vetcall Ashmore.

After needing a caesarean, mum and babies are doing really well. It's always a special moment seeing everyone safe, warm and already feeding.

A big congratulations to this amazing mum – we can't wait to watch these little ones grow. 💕🐶

He recently came in to see us for his castration and was an absolute superstar from start to finish. It's always lovely to see our patients back to their happy, bright selves after their procedure.

💗 A special milestone at Vetcall Ashmore 💗

As Vanessa begins her maternity leave, we wanted to share one of our favourite recent photos of her with one of our gorgeous patients during a progesterone testing appointment. 🐾

Vanessa has been such a valued part of our team, and while we'll miss seeing her around the clinic, we're so excited for her as she starts this wonderful new chapter.
