Despite these hurdles, we continue to provide essential care, shelter, and second chances to animals from all walks of life. Our core mission revolves around the belief that every animal deserves a loving home. We take in dogs from overcrowded pounds, neglectful situations, and homes that can no longer care for them, offering hope to those who need it most. From fostering and rehabilitating dogs to organizing adoptions, Diamond in the Ruff Rescue works diligently to match each dog with their forever family. 🐾 FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME NEEDED – ROLLEY & ROCKET 🐾
After sadly losing their owner, best mates Rolley and Rocket found themselves impounded through no fault of their own. Due to the circumstances, they have remained together throughout their time in care and have formed an incredibly close bond.
Now these two boys are looking for a loving foster-to-adopt home together where they can start the next chapter of their lives.
🐶 Rolley – 5-6 year old desexed male American Staffy
Tan and white in colour, Rolley is a happy, affectionate boy who still loves to run, play fetch and show off his ball-catching skills. It appears he has had hip surgery at some point in his life, but he has recovered beautifully and doesn't let it slow him down. He's full of personality and loves being involved in whatever you're doing.
🐶 Rocket – DOB 11/11/2017 – Desexed male Jack Russell/Foxy Cross
Black and white in colour, Rocket is the quieter half of the duo. His favourite place is right beside his person, soaking up company and affection. He's a sweet, loyal little companion who simply wants to be loved.
❤️ These boys have already lost so much. We'd love to see them stay together and find a family willing to give them the stability, comfort and love they deserve.

🐾 WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS 💔

To be honest, the last few days have been incredibly difficult emotionally and financially.

While dealing with everything currently circulating online, rescue life hasn’t stopped. The dogs still need help, vet care and ongoing treatment.

🐾 Jett is currently undergoing treatment after scans revealed infection affecting his spine, along with significant pain issues. His vet bill is already sitting around $1300, with repeat imaging and potentially a CT scan still ahead in 4 weeks.

🐾 Honey has also required urgent vet care, with bills already reaching around $500 tonight alone. She is heading back to the vets in the morning for further scans and possible emergency spay surgery, as pyometra cannot yet be ruled out.

In the next 10 days alone, outstanding vet costs are already approaching $3500+, and that figure may still increase depending on Honey’s results.

No matter what is happening around us, the dogs still come first and will continue to receive the care they need.
