Three days. One incredible weekend. 🏇
North West Equestrian Expo

Our NEGS Equestrian team had a blast at the North West Equestrian Expo - Eventing in Coonabarabran, and we couldn't be prouder. From the 1* class to the 65cm divisions, our riders showed true grit, skill, and heart.

What a day at the North West Equestrian Expo!

We are so proud of our incredible riders who showed true heart and rhythm on their horses during the Freestyle competition.
Huge congratulations to Robin Henry (Elementary Freestyle – 1st place), Sarah Barclay (2nd place), Abbie Kelly (4th place), McKenzie Ellem (Novice Division 2 – 1st place), and Lilly May (Novice Division 1 – 5th place).

This is what looks like. Every ribbon, every effort, every moment in the saddle builds the confidence and resilience our girls carry for life.

It was a very busy weekend for our NEGS girls, with 8 riders at Quirindi eventing and 2 competing at the Gunnedah pony club day.

Quirindi eventing was a massive weekend with 350 entries with some classes having more than 30 riders. There were many firsts for new horse and rider combinations and new heights achieved.
Lucy finished 6th in the 65cm.
Sita and Scarlet had a great run in their first 80cm.
Charlotte, Maria, Katie, and Robin all had a good run in the 95cm, showing lots of potential.
Annie stepped up to the 1* to join Robin, picking it up confidently.

At the the Greg Swain Memorial Showjumping and Dressage event Callie came away with 1st in the C grade Accumulator and 3rd in the novice dressage 2.1 and Lani placed 4th in the C grade Am7.

A great day out last Sunday for our girls at the ARC Dressage day with 11 riders dancing their way through 22 tests.
Lots of personal highlights and some awesome results.
Sarah B had a busy day competing both her horses. Valley placed 2nd in both her Elementary tests and Mystery was 3rd and 4th in her Preliminaries.
Robin H and Rio placed 3rd in both her Medium tests.
It was lovely to see Maja L back out competing with Bella.
Katie M rode her first Elementary tests and was very happy with Kasper’s performance.
Maria P and Double placed 2nd in their Preliminary and a 6th in the Novice
Kenzie E rode her Novice tests for a 1st and 4th and was super excited with a 9 for Blondie’s long and low trot.
Lilly M and Andy placed 2nd and 5th in their Novices and was thrilled to receive 9s in her second test.
Lyla T has continued to improve with her new horse Arlo competing in both preliminary tests.
Sita S and Keeper produced some pleasing results, to place 3rd and 7th.
Bridget W had some lovely moments with Diaz in her Preliminary tests
Maddie E was very happy with her tests on her new horse Diva.
Charlie and Mr Mal achieved personal bests in both their Preliminary tests.
