We’re hard at work getting the shed ready for our “Puppy Manners” pre-school course! We’ve been painting, clearing out old items (thanks, Michael Booth!), laying a puppy-friendly floor, and setting up an outdoor obstacle course to help build confidence. If you know someone welcoming a new puppy, spread the word!

Puppy Manners: New course starting on Tuesday 8 September at 5.00pm in Argyle.
For puppies up to 20 weeks / Level 1 (need to have received the first vaccination)
Bringing a new puppy home is an exciting adventure, and starting training early is the key to raising a well-mannered, confident, and happy companion!

In this class, you’ll learn how to get your puppy’s attention, teach them to sit and lie down on command, understand when and how to use corrections and rewards, encourage polite behavior around food, wait for meals and when going through doors, walk nicely on a loose leash, begin recall training, and enjoy playtime with other puppies.

This 4-week course is $140.

We’ll build on those skills and start practicing with distractions and real-life situations. New exercises in this course include stay, heel, find it, fetch, leave it, and loose leash walking.
