💚🐴 Who wants to come dance with their horse? In Hand Foundations Clinic 🐴💚

Discover how effective in-hand training can improve your horse’s balance, body awareness, straightness and responsiveness, building a stronger foundation for ridden work.

Throughout this practical, hands-on clinic, we’ll explore clear communication, correct positioning, control of the shoulders and hindquarters, and the introduction of lateral exercises.

Learn not just how to perform the exercises, but why they matter and how they benefit your horse’s education, confidence and physical development.

Suitable for young and green horses through to established ridden horses. No previous in-hand experience necessary.

💰 Investment: $295 per horse/rider combination

Join us at Dalby Showgrounds from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November for our final WDWD clinic weekend of 2026.

$300 per rider includes:

Friday evening rider Pilates session with Blair from Evergreen Pilates

Saturday group clinic with Naomi Strong, beginning with an on-the-ground session before moving into ridden group sessions focusing on circles, manoeuvres and the building blocks of our Western Dressage tests

Saturday evening mindset session with Tanja Mitton, and our WDWD break-up BBQ dinner and some very unofficial end-of-year awards

Sunday morning Practice Show, where riders can nominate up to two levels and ride two tests from each selected level. Tests will be unofficially judged by Naomi, followed by the opportunity to discuss your results and receive feedback on your tests.

This weekend is all about learning, practicing and building confidence in a relaxed and supportive environment — with plenty of time to enjoy our horses and each other’s company along the way.

$300 per rider

Places are limited to 20 riders.

Please note: All nominations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your place may be transferred to another suitable rider. It is the withdrawing rider’s responsibility to notify WDWD of this.
