Last weekend, the equestrian community was shaken by a devastating accident involving one of our Zone 11 members, 8 year old Darcey.

Moments like this hit incredibly close to home for many of us.

Darcey sustained a very serious internal injury and remains in hospital facing a long road to recovery ahead. Right now, her family’s focus is simply being by her side and supporting her.

With the family’s permission, a GoFundMe has been created to help ease some of the financial pressure that comes with extended hospital stays, meals, parking, travel expenses, time away from work, and everyday living costs, so the family can focus entirely on Darcey and her recovery.

If you are in a position to donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much to this beautiful family. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing the fundraiser can make a huge difference too. 🫶🏼

The horse community is known for coming together in times of need, and right now we are asking everyone to rally around Darcey and her family 🤍

This week we’re featuring Allira and Glamour, who have been working hard towards exciting new goals together. It’s been lovely watching this partnership grow and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this pair. 🐴✨

We’re excited to kick off a new feature on our page celebrating the wonderful riders and horses that make up our club community. Through our Member Spotlight posts, we’ll be sharing what our members have been working on, their goals, and a little about the special partnerships they’re building with their horses.

This week we’re featuring Mia and her new pony Calypso. These two have been working hard together in training, building their partnership and having fun along the way. We can’t wait to see them out together this year. 😍

We’re proud to have young riders like Mia as part of our club and love watching these partnerships grow. 💗
