🐾🎓 Kaysadale School Support Dogs in Training! 🎓🐾

At Kaysadale Farm, we’re not just raising puppies — we’re helping prepare them for some very special jobs. 💕🐶

Our school support dogs in training are learning the important skills they’ll need to become calm, confident and well-mannered companions in a school environment.

From sit, drop and stay to walking nicely, settling calmly and focusing around distractions, every little lesson helps build their confidence and prepares them for their future role. 🐾

But why are school support dogs so valuable? ❤️

Having a calm, friendly dog around the school environment can provide children with comfort, companionship and a sense of connection. For some children, spending time with a dog can help them feel more relaxed, supported and ready to engage with their learning.

🐶 Dogs can encourage children to:
✨ Feel calmer and more settled
✨ Build confidence and self-esteem
✨ Develop empathy, patience and responsibility
✨ Practise communication and social skills
✨ Take a break and reset when they’re feeling overwhelmed
✨ Feel a greater sense of belonging and connection
✨ Engage more positively with learning and the school environment

And of course, we believe learning should be FUN! 🎉 Positive reinforcement, encouragement and plenty of well-earned treats help our pups learn while keeping training a happy and rewarding experience.

These little pups have some very important paws to fill — and we’re so proud to be part of their journey. 🐕‍🦺❤️
