Alice Veterinary Centre is the newest clinic of Northern Territory Veterinary Services and is now open. We offer a high level of quality veterinary care at reasonable prices and provide a 24 hour emergency service throughout the Alice Springs Districts. We are able to provide ultrasound, radiography, in house laboratory analysis, and orthopaedic procedures.

Meet Pengwing 🐧

At approx 8 weeks old, Pengwing is a little nugget crossed with a mountain goat. No height is too great to scale for the cat with no fear.

Pengwing is a bundle of energy and loves to be around people. She’s also spent her foster time in a home with multiple cats and dogs so is ready to join a big family if the opportunity presents itself.

Pengwing loves to be loved, she will start purring almost immediately and will curl up happily on your knee for her afternoon sleep.

If you’re interested in meeting our little
Pengwing, stop by the clinic for a cuddle. But be warned, you’re liable to fall in love at first sight!

Adoption fees for Pengwing include first vaccination, worming and desexing.

Kendyl, our resident cat whisperer! 🐈
Kendyl is one of our head nurses, but we’re pretty sure her real job title is Professional Cat Translator. She speaks fluent meow, understands all the feline moods and knows exactly how to make even our most unimpressed patients feel safe and comfortable.
When your cat comes to stay with us, Kendyl goes above and beyond to make their visit as calm, comfortable as possible. We’re pretty sure if our feline patients could leave Google reviews, Kendyl would be sitting on a solid 5-star rating from every cat she meets!
Her knowledge, calm nature, positivity and genuine love for all of our patients bring so much to the team. We’re incredibly lucky to have her!

Steffi, our Wildlife Warrior. Steffi is the newest addition to our nursing team, but it's like she has been with us forever! A staunch wildlife advocate, Steffi has a lot of experience with our more exotic patients and is always happy to share her knowledge with us!
Steffi is also an extremely supportive member of our team, filling in shifts, helping out whenever and wherever she is asked and just generally being amazing.

Brit P, our Parasitology Princess! As one of our head nurses, Brit P personifies problem solving, attention to detail and all round organisational skills. Her talent with a microscope knows no bounds, and she is a catheter queen!
She takes on the training of new nurses with a passion and patience that gives our new nurses the confidence to try new things and know that no question is a silly one.
Her patience and passion also extends to all of our patients, and she can calm even our most fractious patients with her confident holding and her experience and knowledge is evident in all she does.

Dodo is an approximately three month old domestic longhair kitten.
After spending time in foster, Dodo's true personality is starting to shine through! He needs a family who will be patient with his shy nature until his playfulness comes out.
Dodo loves to chase balls and bottle caps around the floor. He is a big fan of cardboard box forts for climbing and hiding. He is food motivated and loves a treat!
Dodo is the last of his kind, so sn**ch up this sweet fluffy boy before it's too late!

Flamingo is an approximately 18 week old domestic shorthair kitten. Although wary and nervous at first, she has come on leaps and bounds whilst in foster care. Flamingo loves to be scratched on the ears and cheeks, to the point where you will get bored before her! She may even dribble to show just how much she enjoys it.
She is an avid hunter and will chase her toys around. She is very skilled at catching flies and moths, so for a bug free summer, choose Flamingo!
