Thanks to your fantastic support, we are delighted to confirm that our 2026 shows are definitely going ahead!

We sincerely appreciate every exhibitor who promptly entered and supported our event. We look forward to welcoming you all for what promises to be a wonderful weekend.

A Quick Reminder for 2027:
Our 2027 shows will be closing early again next year, so please keep this in mind when planning your show calendar and budgeting. Entries will close before the usual interstate cut-off timelines, so don't leave your entries until the last minute.

I would like to take this opportunity to address the complaints, concerns and challenges associated with organising our event in a remote location. Unlike other areas with more frequent events, our situation necessitates earlier planning and confirmation to ensure our participation. The costs of flights, accommodation, and other necessities are substantially higher for us, and certainty regarding our entries is crucial.
Our local community consists of only three exhibitors, making the impact of uncertainty more significant. We can't just travel an hour down the road to another show!
I urge participants to recognise the distinct challenges we face and plan accordingly. By budgeting yearly for earlier entries for our shows and providing support, participants can contribute to the sustainability and success of our club. Cancellation is not our preferred outcome, as we stand to lose a lot more than you if it occurs.
I encourage participants to consider the efforts of our hardworking community and submit their entries in a timely manner to ensure a successful ongoing event in July.

Are our shows going to go ahead? That's completely and entirely up to you!

If we get the entries, absolutely, shows will go ahead as planned.

We WILL also need anyone who is an approved steward to step up and help out over the weekend as Alice Springs has no active local stewards.

We can do it if we rally together 🐾

Due to the rising costs faced by our small remote Club — particularly judge flights and accommodation during peak tourist season — we are now asking for exhibitor support and entries earlier than usual.

This commitment will help us confidently cover costs and ensure our Championship Shows can continue this year. We understand that times are tough for everyone, and sincerely appreciate every entry and all ongoing support.

We hope to see everyone in Alice Springs this July for a fantastic weekend of showing and friendship in the heart of Australia.

At this stage, entry numbers are much lower than expected, and we are facing a difficult decision about whether our annual July shows can go ahead this year.
